Mene aaj ka news paper pada usme kuch chuninda logo ke IQ ki baat horahi thi usme last me gerry casparo chess player ka name mentioned tha. Ye ek ache iq wale insaan the.
At time 2.30 playing black knight was wrong, at time 3.59 queen exchange was better but going away from king, leaving unsafe and taking pawn at A2 was wrong instead should take control on g file by first moving queen to f 5
Just believe your intuition. Try to follow basic rules, 1. Development, 2. Look for threats and possible threats, 3. Look for unprotected pieces, 4. Make your king safe, 5. And most importantly, don't afraid.
When you follow basic rules, slowly you will be able to learn the openings. As opening is to make one's pieces developed in such a way that they may help to defend one's king and attack the opponent king, i.e., placing one's pieces from initial stage to their natural squares in general (you may violate the rules as board allows), connecting rooks etc. In general, knights are developed first, then bisbops and castling in order to connect the rooks. Further, in openings, moving same piece more than once is avoided. Try to develop your pieces with tempo, I.e., develop your pieces in such a way that they attack any piece or increase pressure on the positions. Another thing is there either control the centre or firstly let opponent control the centre and then attack the centre (like modern defence). And in the last you may practice one opening at a time and try to understand basic idea of the opening. For example, when there is rue Lopez opening on the board, basic idea is that, if knight is captured,on queen side there are 4 pawns for black and 3 pawns are there for white but on f file black has double pawns. So equal position. Further it is obvious, on king side white is going to have 4 pawns vs 3 pawns of black. Now this is initiative. Just try to convert it into clear advantage, and here you are. So don't worry. Just follow basic rules (obviously may be broken on given condition). So you need not to remember the moves, but the idea of the opening. So it is not one day task. Practice is the basic key. For more details you may surf the internet. @@amitjaisal3780 i'm asking, is it necessary to remember those openings?
