Hare Krishna Prabhuji, the knowledge moves towards realization by hearing, contemplating and applying. the two obstacles in this process are desires and doubts. have equal vision towards things as well as people, stop evaluating people on the basis of their capacity to give us sense gratification. ultimately the purpose of yoga is to fix the mind on Krishna. thank you.
good
hare krishna prabhu , dandvat pranams🙏...longing for your association one day ...Thankyou for such detailed explantion .. u made me understand n realise BG so well...thankyou so much🙏🙏
I have completed 80 episodes and really want to express my gratitude to Prabhuji for his kindness to share this beautiful knowledge with such a beautiful explanation.
Thank you so much, Prabhuji.
It's been a wonderful journey to listen to you.
SP - one should not hear like a hog. Hog has a big ear but can’t understand philosophy. Hog’s consciousness is not lifted.
Realization means mind accepts - yes this is reality. Realization is that reality which we accept is reality.
Desires and doubts both are obstacles. Desires keep us attached to this world, and doubts keep us away from Krishna.
No one can reach the spiritual sky without proper understanding of Krishna. So a person working in Krishna Consciousness is a perfect Yogi because his mind is always absorbed in Krishna’s activities.
That which is physical should not be mistaken to be spiritual.
Poor recording--voice level fluctuates very much
Thanks Prabhuji - nice class.
Can u pls answer my question that when we can easily follow path of bhakti and can absorb our minds in krishna just by chanting and hearing hare krishna then why krishna introduced the difficult yogas like ashtanga yoga which involves so much difficulties and it is also difficult to perform its asansa by females ....if one just follow the path of bhakti yoga without doing any physical yoga told in ashtanga will that person attain krishna or not?
Hare Krishna! Absolutely. If we just follow the path of Bhakti yoga without doing any physical yoga, which is a part of Astanga yoga, we can certainly attain Krishna. Krishna has given many statements in the Bhagavad Gita on how to attain him by practicing bhakti yoga.
Astanga yoga or process of meditation was the yuga dharma in Satya yuga (SB 12.3.52). Exalted devotees like Narada Muni, Dhruva maharaja, etc attained Krishna by this process. But it has strict requirements as Krishna will mention in the future verses. The purpose of Krishna explaining Astanga yoga here is
1. Krishna knows that there will be people who will definitely say "oh Krishna didnt speak about Astanga yoga, He missed this, etc." Krishna doesnt to give any room of speculation to people on not covering different forms of yoga.
2. He wants Arjuna to say how difficult it is to perform Astanga yoga by listening about the process of performing. Krishna wants Arjuna (and therby us) to realize how impractical it is to perform this yoga process in this age.
Hopefully this satisfies your query! Hare Krishna! Kindly forgive me if i made any mistake.
