Also the price of tickets. I was living in Italy in 2019 and decided to check the prices of serie A tickets online. Not sure if the website was just ripping me off but Serie A tickets cost up to 3 or 4 times what champions league tickets did
Last time I checked a few years ago, Serie A tickets were ridiculously expensive! Maybe that's the reason why stadiums have been having this problem. Not to mention the danger some old stadiums prove to be. I saw a picture once of Napoli's stadium (I guess) having huge gaps near the benches where anyone could easily fall all the way down to a 30m drop or whatever
We became too content with being the top league and didn’t do anything to keep improving. 2006-2010 was a crucial period for us to be more advanced, we have suffered since. Prem and La Liga have become more modern.
Hahaha I noticed this to, need to be something really bad say, or done. When the Serie A start to change the infrastructure of the football it will be finally going in the right direction, can you believe only 4 teams have the own stadium, the other problem is politicians, they have a bureaucracy, is just insane take you 10 years to do anything, the other thing with Milan, just do the own stadium, forget SanSiro the Major of Milan is just an idiot, and will do nothing to fix this problem, I understand is more then a stadium, but it is a start.
i thought they always had a playoff if their was a tie for the scudetto, it was called a spareggio. it happened in the 1962 i think when bologna and inter were tied for first place
Economic crisis is there no dooubt but Italy is still the 3rd best economy in Europe. Don’t get from where you get this embaressing comparasion with Greece?!?
Always a little odd to me to see such an absolute legend of the game like Del Piero doing commentary.
For such a wealthy country it's honestly bizarre, Serie A stadiums look like stadiums from EFL League One.
Italy is not a wealthy county, it was close to being a financial disaster like Greece. That's why Seria A is suffering.
@@decode3667 Corruption doesn't help
@@ryanperrault8174 True but in the West, UK, France, US & etc... their corruption is so developed that they can get away with it.

@@decode3667 that's right and over 100 italian clubs went bankrupt over the last 25 years

Back in the Days Italian serie A was the toughest and hardest league in the world with Bad tackles and rough play

Please don't do a playoffs, it ruined MLS. Keep the same format at PL
alessandro, class with his 'golden tapir'.... wonder what he got that for on strisce la notizia?
