Best goon guide hands down. I'm mainly a PvE solo player and the goons on shoreline have been such a pain. I think most people looking this up on YT are in the same boat, trying to quest on shoreline and getting completely rocked by the goons. I will add something I feel is important. Birdeyes detection range is just insane. He can spot you from tunnel, roof of Health Resort, and to v-extract. He sees thru everything but building rocks and dirt. What I've discovered is that his detection range is greatly increase by you sprinting. It seems like his wall hacks only work if you sprint. Granted, he still gonna spot you if there is a close line of sight but I'm telling yall he will spot you thru the woods from 400+ meters away if you sprint. It's stupid af.
I wish they would lower the spawn rates in PvE. I swear in every raid I either here them or see them. More than half the time I get one tapped without a warning shot. It's actually ridiculous LOL lately I have been avoiding their spawns all together and when I have a quest where I have to go near them I dread it..

did not know that nades agro them o me, when i tried to hunt them, I heard them and pushed a bit further to look for them, this vid explains a lot why I was dying so often to them

Great guide, thanks! I've been trying to kill them at distance using a thermal on lighthouse and shoreline (playing PVE) birdeye isn't a problem, but I always get wrecked by one of the other two when I push towards them. Will be using your method from now on!
after getting grenaded and wall jammed a couple times I always just panicked when fighting goons. this makes a lot of sense and is in line with the behavior I've experienced.
Really good guide! It’s nuts tho to see how slow they react to you in pvp vs pve. It looks and feels like almost a second slower reaction time 😢. Maybe I’m just too bad tho.
I think something that’s really important is your ammo choice. Birdeye and Pipe both have 75HP in their head and Knight has 80HP. You should be using ammo that can 1 tap at least Birdeye and Pipe. I have been using M80 in the black MDR even though it doesn’t pen Knight’s armor it has just enough damage to kill all of them in one bullet
Run on goons Spawn, wait the voice Line, take good right angle, headshot knight, Big pipe Come faster, kill Big pipe, wait for socks man (no footsteps) head shot socks man. You are the best player ever gg a scav player wait in a bush for head shot you when you looting 😂
You forgot to add the part where they lie when doing coms so that they can catch you lacking, I.E they will say no ammo or visual on target to get you to move
they randomly ran up on me while I was doing setup, got big pipe & knight but was super low & birdeye finished me off. FIrst time I ever ran into them, really wish I saw this vid before....
Is this for PvE? Because they changed the bots there, they can now roam the entire map & loot anything - makes it a grenade fest. However, these changes will soon come to PvP as well so at that point this guide might be inaccurate, as all AI will be alerted.
@@JinxerTT anyone can, you just have to lvl up to it. Advoid the goons untill you get it imo, it’s really not that bad. Or run leg metta and camp in a room with a closed door once they spot you. Any Timmy can kill them with patience

Just hold the angle they will always rush you, The Rush and crouch before shooting so you got time to shoot them first
