For me it's nades. The pve PMC's can land a nade at your feet from half way across the map. Nothing like going into factory kitted with lvl 6 armour and meta ammo just to have a nade land at your feet and explode almost instantly 30 seconds into the raid
Is there a tip to stop 40 scavs harassing me every raid without just turning off ai cause that ain't the move. It's hard to loot because I'm seemingly always on defense.
If u are solo its annoying sometimes they just keep pulling up you gotta just wear the good headsets I guess to hear them creepin up. I always wear a giant backpack and throw their stuff inside it then go into a room and search it then.
It might only be anecdotal, but for me so far just run. The scavs are attracted to sound so hard that they straight beeline whereever they last heard anything louder than a sprint unless they see you. If you have to make noise for whatever reason, pick a direction that breaks line of sight from where you were and move WAY away from the sound. Weirdly enough it can play to your advantage because enough noise in one area feels like it makes a dead zone nearby where the scavs got pulled from.
Multiple Strats, dependent on what level you on. 1. Suppressors work, some better than others, different calibers too. 2. The AI are attracted to sound, so toss nades far away or put suppressed impact away from your location. 3. If you are spotted, expect a long fight, or kill everything and relocate, takes about 2 minutes to have the AI "forget" about you. Dont let them get a single shot off or its a summoning noise. They are stupid and you can do basic stealth kill loops on them, as looting bodies and investigating corpse noises are extremely close in AI "importance" to each other. Honestly factory loot and scoots against PMC AI and tagilla is pretty easy and quick.
Best and most efficient way to get money is flea market, either reselling newly unlocked and popular items from vendors, or manipulating market itself. Otherswise farming stuff like lighthouse, reserve, streets are great.
I have a tip do scav runs on factory there is no tagilla you can let the scavs fight which lets you know where the pmcs are and you can face shot the from office hallway windows and let the map calm down loot the pmcs and the safe in the office and extract at the office windows i make 500k every raid that goes that way its amazing
Been having a blast lately with PVE, finally got the .308 MDR unlocked, m80 to buy and m62 craft quests finally done. It does get old having Partisan AND Goons following you on half the maps, and having them spawn at what feels like 8 out of 10 attempts can be annoying. I have several screenshots from raids where within a minute of the start i have already killed 2 out of 3 goons, sometimes 1 of them and Partisan. 4 Customs matches in a row he followed me into dorms, sometimes dying to scavs setting off his wires. He would be way more barrable if made footsteps instead of only voicelines when he can't reach you Sadly i have had to ALT F4 several raids instantly on Shoreline, the Goons spawn in already aimed at you, many raids of spawning into not just incoming fire, but direct hits.
I have learnt customs, factory and streets of tarkov. I struggle to find out where I spawned on the other maps making it difficult to navigate and learn the maps.
@jhtfeae101 I have the paid version of map genie so I have access to all the maps. But knowing where u spawned in the middle of a field surrounded by forest on Woods or reserve. The only way I can tell where I spawned is by seeing where my extracts are but spending most of your raid trying to figure out where u are can be annoying.
Insurance is 100% on all maps except Labs and Streets; as long as you playing solo. Because labs has no insurance, Streets runs on bsg game servers so it doesn't end the match the instant you die so its possible to not get your stuff back. Solo raids outside of Streets are ran on your own pc, so once you die the match is over instantly and the insurance timer starts(except labs because the scavs are to scared to enter). Playing with a friend makes the game run on BSG servers, therefore insurance then acts like live game would. Your gun came back in pieces because you either used both traders to insure or you simply didn't insure at all on that solo raid on customs. I see a lot of people getting this wrong somehow.
In my experience usual if I don't wear something with throat protection I die to head, throat and if I do wear throat protection the scav/ai pmc just has ammo that has more then 30 pen and head throats me anyways. Cuz for some reason the head, throat hit box is bigger then head, eyes. Or I just die to leg meta to the arms, Or my favorite the God nades scavs do effortlessly
