YEAR ROUND depicts the Wheel of the Year, the annual cycle of seasonal festivals including the solstices and equinoxes. These eight harp solos take us through the seasons, creating character and imagery through music. Each solo is a miniature study on various early to mid-intermediate harp techniques. Work through a variety of left hand patterns, challenge your right hand dexterity, develop your skill with harmonics and grace notes, and improve your reading with a variety of meters and rhythm patterns. This is a wonderful collection for teachers, students and life-long learners. 0:00 New Beginnings 1:25 Signs of Spring 2:43 Queen of the May 5:03 Summer Breeze 6:08 August Eve 7:16 We Gather Together 8:34 In Passing 10:30 Boughs of Holly I composed this collection of pieces in 2017. These are beautiful songs! I must buy your set! I’m a Celtic Wiccan High Priestess and these will be absolutely perfect to play the rituals throughout the year! ❤
When I wrote them I pulled out all of the technical issues that I had found challenging when I was learning the harp and turned them into these studies.

i’m not sure why you took down the boughs of holly stand alone video. that was on my christmas harp playlist. i wish you would put it back up. 😢
Hello Anne, are there many of these songs that go below the range of C3? I have a 29 string harp, but it only goes down to once octave below Middle C.
Happy Aniversary is the music changed a great deal? I’ve bought the older version of the year round. But I have not started to learn it yet.
Yes, please answer soon Anne. I have a 26 string harp and ned to know the answer too.
