I figured that 40K, in the Sci-Fi setting, doesn't bring it alone any more.
So I am quite excited to dive into AoS for some fantasy-themed war gaming for some variety.
I have the feeling it will be benefiting 40K players regarding charge and fight phase maneuvering, possible objective achievement training.
This has to be the best and most coherent How To Play I've ever seen. Continue making great vids, keep up the good work.

I loved this! I haven't played Warhammer since my high school days in an after school Warhammer club with my trusty lizardmen army some 17 years ago. So I'am hyped to get the box tomorrow and get back into it. This was brilliant little how to play, I could see it was straining you both to hold back and keep it simple for us.
Your best videos are with you two. So informative, so professional. Kudos to both of you 🙂
Very very interesting to see what AoS brings in v4. 40k 10th was a breath of fresh air in simplicity and accessibility and I have high hopes that AoS will do this too!

Great tutorial! Just be aware of your language. I heard a ‘Datacard’ slip out a couple of times. Really important to get the right nomenclature right off the bat. Great effort though 👍👍

Feel free to correct me, but my understanding is that this is not how deployment works in 4th edition?
At the list building stage units will be assigned to regiments led by heros. Then each regiment will deploy at a time.
Dunno if GW will have given you the regiment info yet though?
Having regiment drops is more a specific ability and we wanted to keep this one super simple.

Getting really sick and tired of everyone and their mother doing Spearhead armies. I’d like to see at least one content creator do an *actual* game of Age of Sigmar for their ‘how to play’ videos
Unfortunately there is a reason for that.

Quick correction. Fight first lets you fight first in the Fight first phase. Afterwards you should have fought with your liberators, because as the active player you start the normal combat phase as well. Only after that the rat ogres^ or clan rats could have attacked. Hope that helps.
Was it not during the Skaven turn he used his Strike-first?
