Despite the fact she seems to hate them, there is a treasure trove of pre-Fallen tracks I absolutely adore. Some of the stuff is less-than-studio quality, but some of it is amazing, and perhaps should have been turned into regular releases.
The demo version of Farther Away is one of my faves, as well as Anything For You. Hearing proto-versions of Fallen tracks was cool, too, just to sort of speculate on their evolution from concept to final tracks.

bands like to change up there music style and yea ik skillet changed a small amount of there music sound and also of mice & men did too with there new latest album its completely different from there previous albums.

That's so true. My friend and I have that as an inside joke, like every time something (we're interested in) gets postponed for another year or two before release or like something that gets a teaser and no release date at first, we always look at each other and go "I bet it'll still come out before Evaescence's new album". It's annoying, but worth the wait.
Still more than Metallica, now an album every 8 years
at least they're worth it. There is NOT one single song in their albums that I hate. Evanescence perform about life and death. Amy Lee just deliver it in the most haunting yet beautiful way to the fans. At least their songs mean something.
Metallica delivers masterpieces every 8 years and they are 50 years+ with families. And they only started that after like 6 studio albums that were all platinum sellers... They made albums full of hits, not "3 hits + fillers" like Amy Lee.
Amy lee is young, pretty soon her voice will crack, she'll look terrible, and her career will be wasted.

I thought Evanescence was gone for good....And I was really really depressed about it because I haven't seen them in a concert yet (Even though I've been a VERY big fan of them for 6 or 7 years....) I never got a chance to, because I was very young when I became their fan, and, we couldn't afford it....And now that they're going on tour, I can maybe get a chance to see them!!!!! Thank God I saw this interview on time!!!!!

They are doing more music next year if you didn't understand her in the video, and what the hell is wrong with playing your with your band randomly? They aren't in a label anymore so doing these shows are done on their own money. Nevertheless how many bands haven't done anything in years and they still tour more and more? Besides there is nothing like a real concert with artists so talented like Evanescence. Watching Amy Lee live is amazing. I've gone to like 5 concerts of them and they were all worth it.
Too bad a tour probably costs an ass load to actually pull off, so I don't see what the point of playing a few shows would be. It's like "Let's spend $75,000 to go on tour just to make $100,000 back."
mydnyghtamethyst Last year they had the Ozffest and they kinda did just 3 shows in U.S. but they all were sold out, so maybe they did earned something after all, same with last April and May shows, sold out shows that could make at least the doublé of what they spend on it, still a lot of checks to pay, not a great deal but they are doing it for the fans. All these next 16 dates will be more fair I guess and if they keep doing music next year it will keep them on track to do it all.
