Adam Richmond brought food challenges to mainstream tv. It maybe edited or not but I’m pretty sure he’s inspired a lot of people to give things a go. I met him a few years ago and he’s a really nice guy. That’s the problem with social media, it’s all bollocks. My dad is harder than your dad shit. 👍🏼

Adam was an actor that brought food challenges to the mainstream audience. He’s not a competitive eater at all. If it wasn’t for him I wouldn’t know anything about food contests 🤷🏾♂️

ANTHONTY BOURDAIN made the Travel Channel, it certainly wasn't Adam Richman (although I think he's fine).
Not 100% sure this is the issue, but if the dude had originally tagged you in the tweet, then when Adam would've replied it automatically adds all previously tagged people in the reply, so it doesn't sound like he went out of his way to tag you back.
Again like I said maybe not the issue but just wanted that to be known

I'm not into competitive eating and cannot remember exactly when your channel was recommended on my YT, maybe sometime around July/August last year (old brain guess). Since then Leah Shuts, Katina Kilos and Joel Hansen's channels have popped into my recommended viewing. 100% what you guys do is not just shove food into your gob. Well, you do shove food into your gob, but there is as much technique and training (hmm, maybe) as a gymnast goes through before a tournament.
Food feuds!
I looked for it because it sounded funny but this massively misrepresents what actually happened. Someone tweeted, Beard replied saying ‘he’d get destroyed lol’, the person replies and Richman pops up and says ‘yawn’. Beard replies with a video of winning a contest and says ‘ever been here? Na didn’t think so’ and Richman replies saying I’ve never claimed to be a competitor eater and then Beard calls him a nipple.
Nothing’s been deleting and the guy only replies after ‘you’d get destroyed lol’. So he didn’t just like a tweet and Richman came out of nowhere, all he originally replied with was ‘yawn’ and didn’t actually speak to Beard properly until two fairly antagonistic tweets first! Not just a like! Bit of a disappointing revision of history there. And maybe the fact that nothings been deleted shows which way the culpability might be

Adam Richman seems to have had a rough pandemic, he got way slimmed down after Man V. Food, and now he appears to be bigger than he ever was. Hope he's alright, great TV host.
Man vs food. Did he ever complete a challenge? Pretty sure Ive never seen him finish one apart from the spicy challenges
Just to say, he managed more than he didn't.
oh yea he completed a bunch of them. For me he was the first "eater" show i watched. It was entertaining, he was great on the show and it was very popular. Competitive eating was about long before him, but not many people ever watched it except for fans. All kinds of people watched Adam's show and enjoyed it and he brought a lot of people into watching the various eaters in the world, including Beard.

I don't think deleting a tweet shows guilt. It just shows that they felt like deleting it. From a PR position that tweet just wasn't worth it and was drawing more ire than support.

For example thequartering deletes most of the last night's tweets if he was out drinking.
