Thank you for this recipe. Taco salad is my daughter's favorite, and I was looking for a quick and simple recipe to make for a family reunion this coming Sunday. It will be easy to travel with :) :) Plus, I am thinking ahead to next week so this is perfect timing! P.S. Those flowers are BEAUTIFUL. They look like white lilacs; I have never seen those in white.
Very impressed with the recycling in Denmark and Sweden. A recent TV series 'War on Waste' has shown how badly we do it here in Australia. Still - when we know better, we do better; baby steps! Many thanks for your inspiration in so many areas.
I am here today exactly two years later, June 5, 2019. This kitchen is very small however, it is functional and quick to clean. Loved the flowers and hope to make the Taco Salad.
Hi Diane, I've greatly enjoyed watching your videos (as I work my chores) and I was wondering if you would consider a video about building a wardrobe. I've noticed that your wardrobe is mostly based on just a couple of primary colors and jewelry tends to be your splash of color. Your clothes appear to favor simple lines and a modern look. Honestly, I find your wardrobe and sense of style to be inspirational (good style isn't just for 20 somethings).
God pinse, kære Diane, we ar not in our weekend-cabin. It's pinsedag, but my husband is at work today :( ... I cleaned my kitchen-window, watched your video now and pulled out some crafting stuff and with the "jedi mind trick" I will do some more in the kitchen today - TOTH. Thanks again for your inspirations, suggestions, motivation osv. Gabi
I noticed you put the top back on the empty tonic water bottle after you emptied it. Our city's recycling instructions ask that we leave the tops off such bottles as they will flatten and take up less space until the process is done. Hope your son is home from the USA and has been saying good things about his experience. Please share a story or two with us.
This was very timely! I'm doing the babysteps, day 27 today, but I've been meaning to use my 15-minute decluttering time to tackle under the kitchen sink - have been procrastinating because I thought it would be a nightmare. Well I watched this yesterday and last night tackled the cabinet and won! And do you know what? It actually took less than 15 minutes and was not anywhere near as bad as I'd thought it would be. Thank you!
Thanks for another uplifting video! I'm curious, how exactly do you use the steel wool (dry, wet, with cleaner or water only), and what do you do with the steel wool once used (reuse -but doesn't it rust?-, or to garbage bin?) ? Many thanks, Nathalie.
Oh wanted tell that my boss turn up at my front door step on Saturday. She has never been before. And she said what a lovely house I had. I had just Finnish my one house blessing. Is she had come three weeks before. I don't think she would have said that.....So just want to say a big Thank You...To You and all the other flyladies
What brand of environmentally friendly cleaner do you use? Maybe I can find it in Sweden as well? I would really like to switch cleaners. // Sofie from Sweden
Hi Sofie! I use the Isabella Smith (Danish) range available from her website (just add 'dot com' to her name) but I bought them from a health food shop. There are plenty of great cleaners in the supermarket but I like the smells of these ones, so it makes the job more fun! ;-)
Hi Malaguena! No, nevery 15 minutes a day - that is way too much. See my Flylady Refresher Course for all the lastest info ua-cam.com/play/PLxIYCyTLBED-1vdMwaAhm7Z_3Br__gals.html
Welcome to Sweden! Been raining all morning here in Uppsala. But now a little sundhine!! :) Done my morningroutine despite I'm so tierd because my toddler has been waking me up like 10 times during the night...Without my morning routin (written down in my binder) and my timer I would probably still be in my night T-shirt, sittning at the table drinking coffe and waste hours on the internet and feel misserable. Curious, do you speak swedish? :) /Maria
+Gudregerar7 I took Swedish evening classes when we bought the house...I was determined not to start speaking Danish/English to the neighbours. I'm not fluent yet but I watch a lot of Swedish tv, so am slowly improving. The magazine I'm reading today is Amelia! 😃🇸🇪
Flylady Diane Denmark You don't need a husband to open a bottle or jar if you a rubber glove. you don't even have to wear the glove just use the glove like a cloth over the lid. grip hard and twist. if you're losing grip on the bottle or jar, use the matching glove to hold it. 💪
I found the recipe for the Taco Salad! 😃 www.dianedenmark.com/2011/06/taco-salad.html?m=0

Flylady Diane Denmark I'm right there with you in the menopause thing!

Flylady Diane Denmark Wow! Så duktig du är! Och då kan jag kommentera på svenska alltså? Så slipper jag skämmas för min dåliga engelska ☺️
