I actually rather like Kurzgesagt and their videos. my only real complaint is that they're kinda depressing sometimes. but I still wanted to make this parody. work on my blender skills and whatnot. they put a lot of effort into their videos and you should check them out. especially if you've never heard of them before, otherwise this video won't make much sense.

As someone who experiences that on a regular basis with friends: yes, after three years of this, it has become _very_ personal.
You're not exactly gonna have an academic conversation at a party anyway, no harm in repeating back something interesting in a simplified manner you heard from somewhere else
I mean, I tend to do a little more research, followed by telling someone about what I learned and promptly forgetting it.

Yeah, this is my primary objection to the channel. The subjects that Kurzgesagt covers often aren't merely matters of science, let alone well-settled,* but very little of the nuance or rational uncertainty* comes through. It's very easy to come away from their videos with the impression that everything is science, and science always has the answer.
*No, I'm not talking about anthropogenic global warming.
I really like the mention of the dyson sphere, although, in one of Kurzgesagt's videos, he shows that dyson swarms are way more effective.

Come on you those videos are not hard to make its a super simple cartoon art using basic shapes lmao, the music is basic, and so is the info. Also they work for tech billionares.
