Pressed my notify button…really interested to see your reaction to this version of Serge Lama’s song. He was so impressed with this performance and their interpretation he reached out to Forestella to compliment them and uploaded the video to all platforms in his native France and asked his countrymen to watch it too. This was the 3rd video I ever watched of theirs after coming across them only in early 2023…gets me every time. The other 2 were Bad Romance and Bohemian Rhapsody…I was hooked after Bad Romance…had never heard or seen anything about them before that. I have no intention of ever emerging from the Forestella rabbit-hole…my husband and daughter have joined me here too. 😅 But I realise not everyone has the same tastes etc, but I still like to see reactors’ sharing this and seeing their 1st responses.
I say Forestella is the best because they sing live and their live performances are better than any other group on the planet. The videography in their albums are also on a different league!

I am a Pentatonix and Forestella fan but I would always chose Forestella over Pentatonix, Forestella are/sound like angels sent to earth to give us joy I will be disappointed if I ever get to heaven and the angels there will not sing as good as Forestella does.
Another excellent reaction to this gorgeous cover. I used to be a total Pentatonix fan until I heard Forestella's Scarborough Fair, and then I converted over. Probably because I had over indulged in Pentatonix first though. And I LOVE Superfruit. However I do prefer artistically Forestella's work. They have a stronger classical base which matches my tastes better. Also I prefer their version of Sound Of Silence (although their English is a little weak here, but I forgive Woo Rim everything so long as he keeps singing that well). Also Bohemian Rhapsody where musically I definitely prefer Forestella's version. More guts AND beauty. But Mitch was absolutely brilliant and then there's the guitar solo!

Yes, the other 3 have already done their military service, so once Woorim comes back, there should be no more interruptions! By the way, their French in this song is phenomenal. So incredible how they can sing so many different languages in an almost perfect way. As far as I know, they have sung so far in Korean, Russian, Latin, French, Spanish, Italian and English!
Yes! They are very hard working in practice and the results of their dedication are evident! I am Brazilian and I heard Mingyu singing in perfect Portuguese (he made me cry)! How crazy is that? They are all phenomenal!
To stay with the food: Eat deliciously but with variety, different spices enrich life immensely. Vocal groups like FORESTELLA and Pentatonix cannot and should not be compared. I've heard cover versions performed by both, fundamentally different, but each top-notch. Ultimately, it is also a question of preference for certain types of music. Both are masters of their craft in their own way and should simply be appreciated as such. Both groups can be enjoyed by music lovers.
@@ninalopesbrasilI feel exactly the same. I deliberately listened to a few songs by PTX. Objectively speaking, they are master class, but personally they don't appeal to me. I prefer singing with instrumental accompaniment and FORESTELLA is a very varied delight. They are my daily healthy drug.

i'd choose forestella. the reason is i love pentatonix singing but i don't love their brand of beatboxing, physical percussion and electronic tinkering to make their voices sound like instruments. yes that is a talent in and of itself, but it's not one that i care for. i prefer forestella, who can thread that needle between classical crossover and pop. love old school josh groban too, but he's forayed into musicals the past 5 years 😢however there IS another acapella group here in the US that is coming up the same way pentatonix did, starting with christmas music. they will never be as popular as pentatonix as they have been touring for 25 years and still haven't gained the notoriety, but they are still successful. i find them to be much more charming and endearing and far less slick and overproduced. most importantly to me their beatboxing doesn't become obtrusive.

Pentatonix is great and I like them, but it didn't hook me like Forestella did and I discovered Ptx first! No comparisons here... just fan love!
Who would I take? Forestella. I enjoy Pentatonix, but Forestella is a whole different beast. It's not just technique, it is synergy!
