Same, when we allow this young girls to train sustainably and healthily, their prime is much extended. This sport is rough on the body but her and Simone Biles make me proud, because they are just getting better and better and they aren't teens❤ I love it!
Those pirouettes. 😍😍😍😍😍 Gabby has always been stunning on bars. It makes me so sad she withdrew. I can only imagine how mentally and emotionally difficult it is to come back as she did. She’s 100000000% capable and I hope she sticks it out for LA in 2028! 🙌🏼 All of that being said, Gabby is back of the pack when it comes to all around and Alicia & Chelsea have made it very clear to ALL of the girls that they are taking 5 all-arounders. I personally love their take when it comes to having an AA individual vs specialists. It means anyone can fill in on anything so it takes pressure off all of the girls.
When I was in gymnastics, the beam was my thing. I can't use the word specialty because it was just high school. Even back then they used the all arounds generally at meets. I quit because I worked as hard as they did but only competed at maybe 3 or 4 meets a year.
@@tracyhaverstick5672That's too bad. My sympathy. I sure was disappointed that Gabby felt the need to with draw. She's spectacular to watch on uneven bars! BUT not everyone can be included. 😢
@@ktw70with no disrespect…. Gabby was very back of the pack this quad. She didn’t compete, but was vying for a spot on the Olympic team? She was very, VERY back of the pack! In no way shape or form is my saying she was back of the pack discrediting or taking away from her achievements between 2010-2016. She’s a phenomenal athlete - she’d have to be if she’s over 30 and making an elite comeback! That being said, the 2025-28 quad will look very different if she makes a complete and total return to elite. Once she is able to find a stable gym home there’s no reason she couldn’t be successful.

I am too, as it amplifies the pressure and doubt for the next meet; but she needs to be able to consistently perform this routine without the heavy assistance from the coach, and Day 1 of Championships is less than a week away.
Aww I wish she wouldn’t have withdrawn. Shes so talented as we’re all the ladies that competed. She has worked hard on a comeback and I wish she would have kept going. But she has had an awesome career. I will miss her and her amazing performances and stellar gymnastics ❤
It was very clear she was in shape and had the skills to contend for a spot. I just think the mental part of it got to her and she psyched herself out. I wish she'd started competing last year to give herself some time to get used to it/build momentum. Competing in an Olympic year is very stressful, but reintroducing yourself to competition in an Olympic year when the pressure is already twofold usually proves to be more than most people can handle.
She clearly has insane talent still, but i stand by my statements right before she got "injured"(girl we know you didn't get injured, stop playin) She simply needs more time and training to get into the shape she needs to be in. You can literally see her fighting through every skill she does on every event. Nothing looks effortless or smooth, it looks labored and like at any second its all gonna fall apart. And that just means she needs time. I am so excited to see her return when the time is right. Don't rush the process Gabs.
I love the whole routine, and the way she’s performs several of the skills are among the world’s best, but the thing NO ONE does as perfectly as she does is that breathtaking body position on her DLO dismount. Straight as an arrow, from her head to the tips of her toes. ETA: It does seem really long, though. And if she was still working on endurance…I wonder if she could have performed a shorter routine with a high enough score to have advanced, and showing that she was getting closer with each competition, and held off on unleashing this routine until Trials.
That’s so incredible!!! And please ignore the haters. Your sister is one of the best gymnasts in the world today. In most other countries, she would be the best in the country on those events. Excited to see what the future holds for Eveylynn! She is ridiculously talented! ❤️❤️
Gabby is absolutely amazing!! As soon as she realizes that she is and always has been, she will cone back even stronger. Simone went through it as well.. so much pressure on them..
This is the product of two years of training, which implies she wasn't super focused on training for those two years. And that's fine, I'm sure she has a lot on her plate when it comes to life and being well rounded.
lol no, she learned two new very difficult skills during that time (Ling and Downie) and also brought back a DTY after how many years not competing? Yes her comeback didn’t work out but to say she wasn’t working hard or focused when we actually see her at least attempting the hardest routine she’s ever done on bars is surprising to me
@@Plaspos The scores speak for themselves, including the one nice DTY. Training and warmup videos are great but they're not scored.
