I’ve gone from melodic metal to heavier deathcore but this is just my favourite band combining both and just can’t get enough of the emotion and life Chris’s solos and riffs have it’s so amazing I just wish all the songs were a bit longer cause I love the build ups and changes all the songs have absolute legends❤🤘

Almost every metal band in this era grew up listening to those bands Chris mentioned he grew up listening/influenced. But Chris just have this more brilliant ways of using the knowledge to write in whole another level perspective. Indeed it's his phenomenally wicked af and melodious melancholic guitar skills that enables him to stand out amongst the rest.

Chris objective for the solo achieved, No wonder I could humming along with the solo. In an era of extreme music scene where every band sound almost generic to one another. SOI is on a whole different level.

I've had a couple bands before release stellar albums, only to release a "decent" follow-up, and I was terrified on the (off) chance that happened again. Boy did it not. Elegy is an incredible master class on death metal. Gonna be following y'all all the way to the top.

Yes, probably FFAK and SOI have a friendship and that's probably why Ryan Kirby and Chris Wishman created Our Eternity. I love both bands, so I would like to see something special in the future with both (FFAK 7LP's for example...)
