This is a relief. I just bought a house and termites were found and it freaked me out. (They've been treated) Good to know know that's a normal thing for Oklahoma.
Yes, they say we have houses that have had them and treated or houses that are going to have them. From what all the termite inspectors Ive talked too, they are seasonal too. It never hurts to have your home inspected annually for them and the cost is not too expensive for the inspections.
Good video bud! :) Might be heading to OKC within the next year. Just a helpful suggestion for editing your videos, watch the volume of the music. 😎 Otherwise, helpful info!
Thank you!!! And I thought I deleted all the music tracks, sorry about that, will pay better attention next time. Text me your email address if you would like me to send you an OKC metro hot sheet flyer I made. It shows different metros shooing areas, city hall links, and school links. Respectfully Josh
Hello Josh, Should we have a realstate lawyer to over see the whole process of buying a house since this is one very large purchase one would make? Please explain?
Oklahoma licenses real estate agents to help consumers with buying and selling their properties. The Oklahoma real estate commission contract committee is back up of attorneys, broker attorneys, brokers, etc., etc. Title companies have attorneys that review and approve title commitments. Which are used on the title side. If a buyer or seller is in a position to hire an attorney to assist and advise on top of the real estate agent and title company, than of course that buyer or sellers could hire an attorney. I guess it just comes down to what style of transaction, property, needs of the seller or buyer, and of course the seller or buyer disposable blue funds as to if that seller or buyer needs to hire an attorney. Full disclosure if any consumer in any transaction doesn’t understand a contract then that consumer 100% should hire an attorney and seek legal advise.
Choctaw and Yukon are similar cities, Choctaw on the east and Yukon on the west. I would honestly say they have the same lifestyles. Yukon has a higher population and grew faster then Choctaw due to where I-40 is physically to both town, is my assumption. I-40 runs right through yukon where as the main part of Choctaw is 8 miles north of I-40. NW of OKC developed more quickly due to NW Expressway where as NE of OKC did not develop as quickly since there was not a direct free highway going NE out of the city. The SW and SE are pretty similar with roads and utilities both being more rural than the other sides comparison. Always verify everything with your own research too, these are just my thoughts on it.
Are you a realtor? I planned on moving to Oklahoma and buying a house there within the next 6 months but hearing about the termites and the house settling thing has me so nervous! I think I need to keep researching places? Maybe I'll look into Georgia ha. Thanks for the insights.
I do have the realtor membership, glad I could help out!!! According to terminix, Alaska is the only state without termites (www.terminix.com/termite-control/termite-facts/regional-activity/). Keep your yard watered, is what most home inspectors say to do to lower the chance of your home settling. Thank you for watching and give me a call if you decided Oklahoma is the state for you!!!

Absolutely messed it up with the music. The earthquakes really started calming down after governor falor left office. The us geology site has earthquake occurrences for the hole nation, great resource to cross reference. Really slowed down since Fallon left office.

@@ultimatedouchebag6760 hahaha, I have thought about getting licensed in California, just to send referrals out there to other agents. One referral out in California would be what a whole deal pays out here, I have diffinantly thought about it.

Mate, the music is too loud, it would be nice if you could turn it down a bit. Otherwise really useful content, thanks.
