#Replay. EXACTLY!!! God is NOT to blame!!! Man's weakness because of the fall is why it happened. When we take our eyes off of Jesus and start to allow thoughts contrary to God's statutes to ruminate in our minds, then start to do things not aligned with God's way, and don't seek help--usually because of shame, we fling wide the door to sinful failure.😢😢😢
My heart broke for Pastor Morris, his wife, family, congregation and those who have watched him for years on media outlets. Unfortunately, the accuser will reek havoc in the body but, this is a part of God's cleaning house.🙏🙏🙏

The devil would like nothing less than to tear down every church and every pastor, we all sin and fall short of the glory of God . I have been in a church with a pastor who did something I never imagined he would do and it rocked my world I was mad at God for a little while but I worked through it with the Holy Spirit and found forgiveness and healing. God is so good. He loves us even though hard things.
I am reminded of something Brother Jerry Savelle taught. He said, stay in faith. Focus on the promises and don't be distracted.

I disagree. If there is a train wreck in front of you, you are foolish to ignore it. Find out what happened for yourself. Many leaders don’t want you to KNOW what they’re really doing. This train wreck of Robert Morris needs to be examined. How is he a pastor with pedophile history? I’m a school crossing guard and had to be finger printed and background checked to even get my job. I’m not saying he’s not forgiven if he genuinely repented. That remains to be seen, if other victims step out. It troubles me that these men of God only focus on protecting Morris, the perpetrator. Make sure we all know he’s an ok guy. Really? Why do you all stand on his side and not advocate for the victim. I think it sounds like a strategy to uphold his reputation. His reputation needs to fall to the ground. It’s a good thing to get spanked by the Father. Let Morris EXPERIENCE his consequences. You all are enabling him instead of helping him.

Pastor Troy, I ABSOLUTELY 💯 agree that we are to continue to keep your eyes on Jesus. I also strongly agree with the Word that states how "we" as His ministers are to conduct ourselves in the house of God, otherwise our life can become a stumbling block the sheep Jesus died for.

This kind of thing happened in my church years ago much worse some people were devasted by it but not me because never put your faith in the man but God I see it as God doing what he said judgement would began with the church I like Robert he was one of the few on Christians tv I followed
Wow! About 3 yrs or so ago, God had been laying on my heart to pray that the fruit would remain. Evermore so now.
I was at a congregation with some demonic stuff. I confronted some of it but people let it continue because they are very loving and merciful but weren't strong and discerning. I had to leave sadly.
Thank you Pastor. This is the stance I have taken and been told that means I support the sin. Been praying for the right verses to give. I will NOT visit the Valley of OH NO!

My grandparents, Tom and Cecyle Kinard, were both ordained ministers with the Assemblies starting churches from scratch. I remember his funeral at Sterling Funeral Home in Dayton, Texas in 1971, it was standing room only and a bunch of people were standing outside.
I am relieved to know, evil is being exposed to truth, especially in the church that I love.

Gateway, and Pastor Morris, stood with New Life Chruch in Colorado when Ted Haggard was caught in sin. I'm thankful for their help in such a difficult time.
Let me say something. You sing the praises of Gateway church and besides Morris the leadership is also accountable for allowing him to be in leadership. The worship of man is a big part of what’s being exposed. The devil is given to much credit for the fall of these men . God tells us about shepards who fill their own bellies. Also, what about this poor girl who was victimized what about her restoration. I’ll end with if these scandals shake your faith in Jesus you need to evaluate your relationship and ground yourself in the foundation with Christ being the chief cornerstone. God will shake and expose our true motives he will have no other Gods before him. Shalom

I’d like to see a Pastor take this kind of scandal, own it and point it back to Jesus! We’re all human and fallen and this is why Jesus came! We’re all in need of a savior. It’s still a gospel message. Also, if someone gets upset by this and leaves the church (in general, not specifically the church in question) and walks away from God, it shows they never cracked their Bible open and read the story after story of ppl making mistake after mistake and still being renewed and used by God. He loves an underdog story!

Mike bickle.aftermath left a huge deluge: Bible school closed and forerunner church closed. Only IHOP 24-7 prayer left standing. This exposure season was spoken of late last year by Dr Kevin Zadai. Megachurch and it's programs have lost meaning post COVID. May God have mercy on His servants!!
A child predator, no matter how long ago, should never be in ministry! He should be in prison!
Agree, many just want it to go away rather than deal with it. Life is messy, and going to get messier. We are in the birthpangs, end of days approaching, this is no time to cover sin, get it exposed and dealt with. Eternity is forever, where will you spend it? Let NOTHING come between you and our Lord Jesus Christ and His Word.
Godly sorrow produces true repentance. Do not lie to the people and the Holy Ghost, Annanias and Saphira tried that, Acts 5:1-11.
Do not cover sin, you will not prosper.
I don't think it is up to us to say he should never be in ministry. Isn't that up to God, not us? Just imagine how many people in the Bible would've been written off, if we humans were God.
Abraham - we would've gotten rid of him straight away after what he exposed his wife, Sarah, to. The verse about David being a man after God's own heart definitely wouldn't be in the Bible. He committed adultery and then had the husband of the woman murdered to cover it up. Can you imagine! If it was left to us, how he would've been dealt with after that. I'm sure he would've probably wished he'd just killed himself rather than getting rid of Uriah.
I'm not making light of what Robert Morris did, but he didn't deny what happened. If there were meetings between the lady, (who was a minor at the time), and her parents and Robert Morris and the Elders then they all knew she was a child when it started. Robert Morris.
OK. We all may say he got off too lightly, but wasn't that the fault of the Elders and the Parents. They could all have taken the matter further.
I'm assuming you are a genuine believer in the Lord Jesus so you believe that real repentance can happen. None of us would be saved, without the help of the Holy Spirit to believe and repent. If God can change the hearts of men why should we believe that He can't change the heart of someone who has committed the sin of sexually abusing a child. It's such an awful thing, but we are not defined by our sins. I don't think we look at sin the way God does which is why we can easily justify so many things. I can never get my head around how people can so easily be accepting of abortion. I think of the blood of all those innocent children that cries to God - if Abel's blood cried to God when he was murdered by his brother, just think of all the millions of absolutely innocent babies slaughtered at our own hands crying out to God. What justice do they get on this side of eternity?
There isn't really very much justice in this world.
If Robert Morris has truly repented, and only he and God can now the real answer to that, I don't really see what purpose it would serve to send him to jail now.

God called him and God used him to reach many! As most ppl judge this they would have stoned Paul but God is a heart changer! This is just a giant sermon on the consequences of sin! No matter what happens, we are saved but there is a consequence of sin. Pray and let God work it out because He is faithful!

Honestly for me trying to but distance between between sin and me. I pray for those who fall. Because I have. God just Ministered to me about rebuilding the wall. And those verses. We are all trying to build wall from sin, build our wall. All hell wants you to quit building and be distracted. I've been studying this this week and ono is real for me.

I just today discovered your channel because of the title. So Yes, I agree with you that we should not leave Jesus and his church because of these numerous pastors falling. I have been a born again believer for 72 years I am not leaving my church. But enough already! If we don’t call out this plague in our churches who will. Again ……Again…… I was hoping for instructions…..on why these molestation and sexual assaults on minors are not reported to police authorities. Why did this church even hire this pastor if they knew about this?

We have to stay firm and focused on the Lord. I'm not diminishing this woman's suffering but what is her gain after so many years. If she is a Christian she did not surrender herself to Him for healing and forgiveness. On the other hand pastor Robert should have recognized his wrong doing and apologized to her.
