Me too special the first place with the wolves i came to the top several time but the last part up was blocked by a invisible wall or some... but i managed after 10 tries lol!
The loot seems good in early to mid game, but when you're at steel tier (even level 50s, mid game ish) you will find 10 meteorite ore is nothing (10 steel bars? not even.) And 3 Shells? (not even 1 piece of steel armor) is not that great of a reward. Yes the damage mods are strong. Yes you get Yellow Crystals/Red Sunstones, but these are some of the only chests in the game to obtain this item, so where else would you suggest placing it? Personally I think 2/5(?) towers being annoying seems fair, as the reward is not insurmountably powerful. If you were to compare and contrast with other parts in the game; you can walk to the Ice biome dungeons and loot Arachic Steel items without even fighting any enemies, something that can make the boss fights a lot easier. That's just if you want to talk game balance - just referring to your point about making these mid-level chests more difficult to access. I think it is not necessary and the dev time could be spent elsewhere.
@toby5480 Yeah! Firstly use the Shadowwalker mask obtained from the volcano to go invisible, or else you will have them chase you the entire time. Then go invisible, run to the three big triangle guys. Gear in their chest. Do the puzzle with the key and the fake door (spawns away from the final boss area, so if you find the final boss, you are in the wrong place.) In medium dungeon you get arachic items from these loot chesfs and also there are two key chests as opposed to one in the small dungeons. Same holds true for mysterious stuff with the final dungeon
I just tried that last night....falied 12 times and rage quit

My god, the only time I was in one of those towers with my npc, the vultures ended up spamming me and they took me down...bad memories xD 😅
