Absolutely loved this video! What a fantastic follow on! I am in the middle of my best run yet, managed to bump into a person on a server who has helped me massively with learning everything I can, has helped me get more geared than I've ever been and even given me access to their weapons and ammo stashes! Lead me on an awesome journey and has left me at the radio tower where we've both logged off. I really really hope I find him again when I get a chance to play again. Thanks tk him I have a kitted out blaze, vaiga and a ak74 all with ammo! Plenty of food and meds

@camcantrun I'm definitely gonna try adding them next time we run into eachother! He gave me a radio aswell with a working battery to make sure we can connect! Hopefully he's still around next time! The only downside about working away from home is not being able to play more regularly! And being on ps5 means no modded maps or servers but oh well!
You could have cut up PO for bones to make a hook made a rope from some rags and find a stick from a tree and dig for some worms with your knife and fished.
That's the beauty of DayZ, you can literally do anything in any way and there is no morale code beyond abusing mechanics. But, he did aim a fatal weapon at a friend. So.... Po, hopefully learned. Big love.

hey Cam! thank you for all the knowledge you shared! it actually proved to be usefull! as a total noob to dayz, i thought that fighting zombies was actually a common knowledge by now. but while i was playing today, as soon as i joined the server i saw two survivors getting absolutely mauled by the infected, and they didn't know what to do. unfortunately i couldn't protect them, so they died shortly after, and i still had a bunch of zombies on my tail. using the tips you provided, i managed to fight off some of them and then even trapped like 3 or 4 in a building, just like you showed! thank you again for such amazing content, never stop making it🔥

your guide helps a lot only thing i never get sick from drinking found bottles of water or a canteen. Also you can spawn near friends by being in the same server and dying or suicide and press the respawn button at the same time. i think you have to have them add on you friend list though

I just started and this is really helpful since everytime I tried to leave the coast I would die of hunger but I spawned near the big city on the east coast and found loads of food and killed a dude that was loaded
You said the only cure to the gas poisoning is a pox antidote, but you can also use a blood bag of a compatible type. One of the reasons that if you find a blood extraction kit and have full blood, you should fill it up. Always good to have a bag of your own blood on ya!

hey man grate video, not a noob my self, have been playing the game since day one xD and all the new guys who watch this video, listen to this man, he did a grate job explaining things! But I have one desagreement here, on my streaming channel (not desclosing it here) i made a video about surviving on the coast and if you know what you are doing, its actually very easy to do especially after the 1.23 update with new spawn groups. You have todo one aswell, even as a little challenge going from North-East to South-West.
Finally had my first good day in dayz, been playing a week (Xbox). I’ve been playing for about a week and a half and just logged out for the first time with guns full health food and water. I might be spending too much time on the coast but I can’t survive anywhere else XD all my “buddies” kill me.
funfact as an legacy player with 2000+ hrs only freshspawns run directly on streets, so to avoid conflicts its good to not be visible, but to run sporadically on streets is mostly safer as running parallely all the time, as all geared hooman hunters do too ;) you run into them more probably but yea overall a good point, in special to avoid zombies which have industrial wear btw. if you want to harvest much food, grab a car, drive to the big block of flats north of cherno, this zombies seems to have higher chance to drop their cityFood cargo :D
I think the biggest difference in what you did and what I would do in a similar situation is i would stay on the coast and fish instead of moving in to hunt
anyone whos new to the game or going to try it out id HIGHLY recommend starting on a medium population modded server (like 30 people) Ideally one with a shop system and infinite stamina and maybe bring some friends when you know you can easy buy new good gear you dont have gear fear, and then you go looting a lot more and realise that as a fresh spawn if you hit the right places you dont even need to buy it, you can just get geared up in 30 minuites if you get the right spots

I had seen one of the youtuber playing DayZ maybe it was his first time or whatever and he had all the helpful markers on his screen like a map and name tags on his friends and on top of the screen there was compass markings that showed direction.

Please do a video about finding friends it seems a lot harder then it should be. Also about base building the looting process is important and your last two videos have helped me as a player tremendously but it seems I run into having to much and no where to store it

dayz writes history, some weeks ago i died, i spawned at some small village, it was deep night, all totally dark, i started to make a fire after i found a knife, as i was bored and wanted to see the nice light effects at pitchblacknight, i looted nearby houses, got back, made a bigger campfire near a house, so clearly visible for everyone if someone would pass, like half hour later, out of the shadows a badly woundey guy showed up, he had hunting gear, and was walking as he had red life bar already, he asked for food, i had plenty, so i dropped him a beans can, he thanked me and walked of looting the nearby houses and .. he was gone true story and so cool, besides all the deaths you face.. once i had a heeavy fight with wolves, i totally underrated them, as i didnt played many years, and so i was new to wolvepacks in dayz this game is a gamechanger, a classic, a milestone for sure EVEN its soooo bad at mechanics bohemia had once many years back ragdoll activated, it killed the servers as the load of the data could not be handled so they disabledit again and said they will never ever enable this again very very sad point BUT its still dayz and driving too makes soooooo much fun now.. and is so complex too i love it, im only searching for cars, looting zeleno, *hidin' wooden crates all over the city haha

Those are on MODDED SERVERS that are made to make the game a little easier but also a little more PVP focused and less realistic on the survival side.

dayz writes history, some weeks ago i died, i spawned at some small village, it was deep night, all totally dark, i started to make a fire after i found a knife, as i was bored and wanted to see the nice light effects at pitchblacknight, i looted nearby houses, got back, made a bigger campfire near a house, so clearly visible for everyone if someone would pass, like half hour later, out of the shadows a badly woundey guy showed up, he had hunting gear, and was walking as he had red life bar already, he asked for food, i had plenty, so i dropped him a beans can, he thanked me and walked of looting the nearby houses and .. he was gone

and so cool, besides all the deaths you face..
once i had a heeavy fight with wolves, i totally underrated them, as i didnt played many years, and so i was new to wolvepacks in dayz
this game is a gamechanger, a classic, a milestone for sure
EVEN its soooo bad at mechanics
bohemia had once many years back ragdoll activated, it killed the servers as the load of the data could not be handled so they disabledit again and said they will never ever enable this again
very very sad point
BUT its still dayz and driving too makes soooooo much fun now.. and is so complex too
i love it, im only searching for cars, looting zeleno, *hidin' wooden crates all over the city haha

When playing on Chernarus and someone is asking me where we are (since I don't know how to read cyrillic) even though I Do have the Izurvive... I usually say: "Yes... I know where we are. We are right Here." 😄😄
