MS DOS 5 0 Upgrade Overview and Hands On

MS-DOS 5 turned 30 years old in June, and was the first version to be offered as an upgrade that could be installed in place of your current version of DOS, but why would you want to? This video aims to find out.

I really enjoyed every moment of your MS-DOS 5 Video, I have been using 86Box myself too and I have been having lots of fun with it too and is also very useful for testing related stuff as well at least for me personally. You did a great job sir. I'm proud of you, keep up the good work. :)

Nice video, and I love the humor in the novel and the song lyrics😄.
MS-DOS 5 is also the verison that is emulated on 32-bit Windows NT-based systems (up to, and including Windows 10) in their NTVDM subsystem.
The EDIT command is simply the QBASIC programming environment, but without all the programming stuff. From Windows 95 onwards, EDIT has become its own separate thing, not tied to QBASIC anymore.

That was brilliant, must try that myself one day DOS 4 to 5, have you tried upgrading from 4 to 6.22 or even know if it's possible? I know 5 to 6.22 is possible because I have but 4 to 6.22 I haven't tried. Perhaps that's a video for 6.22's 30th birthday, just a suggestion.
