Dunno what it’s like for the guys doing it but I had one fly over my head while I was climb a ridge not a million miles from here and the noise is something else. I almost shit myself. Think of sails flapping in 140 mile an hour winds and you get some idea. Climbers often think it’s rockfall coming down.
@@NoName-fo7mz Then how did they get up there? They climbed it, they flew down. Have you been there? I have and it gives such an awesome perspective of what some of us have climbed. I always thought skiing back down from a climb was awesome, this just blows that away. Do you even understand what you are looking at? Where Zermatt is? Where the average tourist goes? The fact they covered so much distance in a matter of minutes blows my mind. I have perspective, you don't.
I had visited the Matterhorn a decade ago, so this video was a delight and particularly meaningful to me personally, with Zermatt in the distance. I'm amazed you climbed the mountain and then jumped from the top all in one morning. Isn't that exhausting? I saw the Solvay Hut and the Hornlihutte on the way down. This is my video of the week!
I absolutely breathtakingly love the sensation of flying and the scenery must be so beyond words...one day I will go parachuting..one day and live my dream..🤗🤗🥰😍❤❤
Wow. That exit looked tricky. Fast falling at that altitude. What a peaceful ride down. It's always incredible how quick the way down is versus how long it took to get up LoL.
The sheer aerodynamics in force are really just mind blowing! I mean, how can anyone fly with the huge balls they have?? Must of had the pants altered on those suits….

Many people have done so in the past! Just read the headstones in the cemetery in Zermatt! Some make it a slower journey than others. I seem to remember 1 that started down in about 1936 and only made it all the way down in 1952! 😱🙄
@@stuzworldz hi Stuzworld , Hell yeah brother, I haven't done any peyote in a long time, that's what I need, and your coming too Stu, now we just need a navigator,..

Damn, I was on the peak at 11:30am as well wtf????? I rememebr someone jumped with a paraglider but not wingsuit. There were two of us both in blue jackets. I only remember a lone paraglider with a white reddish parachute, was he your friend?
@@DomeWingsuit crazy, to think that wingsuiters as well as a paraglider went down almost at the same time. I see you jumped a little to the side from the pea, below the st bernard somewhere?
Crazy indeed! Would be cool to find the video... There was not much wind that day, no good conditions for paraglider launch. And yes, true that. We had to abseil down about 70m. There it is jumpable ;)

There are a lot of great wingsuit vids out there...this might be one of my favorites
ABSOLUTELY agreed........ in 56yrs in California...
That WAS sick.. he flew down the entire Hornli Ridge passing the huts landing right at Swartzi station… amazing!!!
In 3 minutes
so sick to see the ridge from this angle.. it's so much longer than what I would have imagined
Yep indeed. We've been as far as the Hornli Hutte at 0:45 but seeing it from this perspective is incredible. That's gotta be the ultimate rush...
Heck, just the hike up the Matterhorn is impressive!
the feeling of flying like this must be undescribable
Besides the wind it seems so peaceful too
Freedom.
That's how you explain it.

Those views are absolutely stunning. Can't get enough of your raw wingsuit videos. High quality and excellent flying!
I thought sure you guys would make it all the way into that town!
Same, MAYBE thermic dont let it fly that Flat area
Zermatt ... the name of the town. Awesome flight nonetheless.
Too many cable car and power lines as well as high helicopter traffic
Wow! Well done! As a wingsuit skydiver myself, I’m blown away at how much flight time you got in this!!! So cool to watch. Thanks for sharing it!
I would never in my life try this. I can't even jump off of a high dive. Thank you for the ride.

Why did he appear to zig-zag? Certainly there can't be usable ridge lift to use. Was he already under canopy?
It´s just the perspective of a non-fixed camera: me flying to the left appearing him flying to the right
Stupid question: what do you do with the mountaineering equipment you needed to get up to the summit?
In this case we had help but if not we put it in the wingsuit somehow and jump it down
