This is why I love BOTW. If you're just trying to play casually you're in for a smooth, glitch free experience. But if you're trying to break the game there's an endless sea of fun possibilities.
The 3D Zelda games in general are really good for this. They're not glitchy in the sense that you'd encounter a lot of problems while playing casually, but at the same time there are so many ways to completely break apart pretty much all of them if you know what to do.
I played regularly twice (regular and master) before I even got into watching Speedruns and glitches, and I can attest to what you say, that it was pretty much glitch free as gaming goes.
Enjoy it "properly" before breaking it. You don't want to miss the wonderful experiences this game offers. (I say "properly" even though I did durability transfer and weapon duplication in my casual file)

The fact that we're still finding things out about this game makes me even more excited for botw 2 to be released so we can find even more glitches and secrets as we play it.
I wouldn't expect BotW 2 to be anything less than an expansion and refinement of what BotW is, so it's likely that it will share a similarly healthy lifespan. I'd be shocked if its not better across-the-board, which is exciting considering how incredible a game BotW already is.
Fun glitch that I found. Using the storage overload glitch while inside gorudo. You can then switch from the female clothes to something else. You will still look like the female link. But you can go as far as selling your female clothes to the shop and walk around the town without them in your inventory. I was trying to find an armour duplication/ infinite armour selling glitch. But selling the clothes off your back was still interesting.
I've had tons of fun using glitches in BOTW, I just hope that Nintendo makes sure they don't exist in the sequel. Or I'm going to have a hard time not cheating my way through the game 😆
@@deadwhitedragon9751 To me that means they can then easily fix those glitches if it is their own engine. If they were relying on some 3rd party to fix the physic glitches, that company would be like "Ok, maybe in 2 years" which is too late, especially for glitches recently found, like BLSS and campfire glitch. Or worse, they probably will not be working on that engine any more. With their own engine, they can at least just make it so you canNOT hold a bow and object at same time, or how things load when coming out of a campfire time change (or don't even use this way to change time, just as they changed save and time control between OoT and MM)
I remember the first time I did a glitch in botw I don’t remember what it was called but it’s the one ware you Shoot a frozen boko as your landing on its head and then fly away (I don’t remember all of the steps) but it was one of the most memorable moments I’ve had in botw. I can’t wait for the sequel and all the glitches people find.
I found something very cool about the wind bomb. If you hold daruk's protection and then detonate the first bomb, not only do you not take damage, but it also doesn't use any daruks protection energy, so you can wind bomb as much as you want without any damage or having to wait. Anyone let me know if you already knew this. if not, Im calling it Daruk's Protection Launch
Just don't update the game after you buy or download it. Updating it will probably be optional. You can disable automatic downloads somewhere in Settings
Has anyone tried the korok trials glitch used to get the one hit obliterator, in order to get the bow of light? I only thought about it but never tried. But I know that while the trial timer is running, you can do several things. What if you cancel out the glitch after obtaining the bow of light. If correct, wouldn’t you be spawned back to the korok forest? I wonder if this is a way to still get the bow, being able to save game and render the world back to its state before the final fight. Anyone ?
I discovered a (new to me) glitch where link is throwing a weapon but isn't. I cam walk and re equip the weapon. You backflip and bullet time. When your about the land on the ground begin to throw a double handed weapon (when i found this i was using a savage lynel crusher). When link is throwing it and has it behind his shoulders used the weapon change button on the left joy con and unequip. This should make Link look like he is throwing a 1 handed weapon but he doesn't have any weapons in his hands. You can also reequip a weapon and it will be on Links back. From my finds you can only walk and this is a seemingly useless glitch but is cool to activate. Using stamina will cancel the glitch. Plz let me know if this a new glitch or not because that would be cool if I did find a new glitch. I call it the 'Weaponless Throw Glitch'!
Imagine you're just walking on the dirt path minding your own business, maybe headed to the stables and then you look up and see someone flying horizontally through the air, carrying a blue bomb and a bow with a bad case of rigor mortis.
Just found out that you un equip you weapon and/or shield during temporary monke, you get monke in video! Although with one handed weapons, if you have a shield equipped, you have to unequip the shield first then the sword to make it work. This does not apply if you have no shield equipped to start. Also, I forgot to mention that this glitch is most easily done with charge attacks.
We're experiencing over system temperature during calls. It will automatically shut off the device and put into hibernation mode to prevent damaging your system.
Searching through all the videos I couldn’t find the most recent but if anyone finds this on the left side of the dining room and breath of wild few used crayons for some reason you can use it in a break because there is no water but it is strange that it activates
I’m having trouble with glitch 16. I did it once successfully, but when I got back into the shrine to show a friend, the slate came back and the glitch never worked again

6:40 I Found a new much crummier way of preforming monke that consists of depleting all of you stamina and then using Revali’s Gale and then canceling it. It will only last for as long as you are out of stamina, but will also last a bit longer when stamina is full. If you move it will cancel the monke. Whistling will give you the slightest hunched back for a second. You will also get different paused animations for the different types of weapons you use. If your weapon breaks, it won’t work. Personally I don’t see any point to this (and it’s definitely not a good as the monke in the video) but maybe someone will find a use to it someday.

Hey, does anyone know how to get material lift smuggling more consistently? I tried using the minus plus method to advance the game one frame to do the glitch and it worked once on the first try but after that it never worked. I tried mashing plus, I tried using b and then plus, and no matter what it seems to not be fast enough, even when I literally only advance one frame. Any tips? Also any tips on the monkey arms one, I can’t get that to work either. Thanks! Also loved the video, keep it up!
question - was jelly bouncing patched? I remember trying to attempt it but in my game shooting the normal chuchu jelly doesn’t have any physical effect on objects.
Ya think that maybe Breath of the Wild 2 is taking so long because Nintendo keeps rushing to fix all these glitches we found in the first game and since we keep finding more it's just pushing it further and further away?
They probably don’t even care to fix most of these because most of these WILL NOT be encountered without trying to encounter them + most of them are harmless

Exactly. That's where it differs from Skyrim, which is full of glitches that are just annoying and can sometimes ruin the experience.
one of the only glitches ive ever encountered when not trying to glitch things is a bokoblin trying to punch me and sliding 20 feet across a beach.

ive been playing this game since it got released, more then 5 years of gameplay and im still not bored like theres just so much to do in this game

Their late discovery may be part of why the sequel is delayed. Maybe they want to prevent that kind of game spoilage.

I took the chu chu jelly trick to the next level. You can parry one with a Savage Lynel shield to get the thunder clap rush

By using a duplication glitch I was able to get 6 hylian shields
Ok i found a glitch
So on the biron snowshelf theres a guardian and if you stasis that guardian it will glitch into the ground
It works on the ones in Hyrule Town too

They don’t update botw anymore, so unless it was patched in 2017 you’re just doing it wrong
And even in 2017 they only patched the completely game breaking glitches that ruin the experience, not stuff like bullet time bounce and sbr
The reason why they’ve taken so long making botw 2 is because they’re trying to patch all the glitches in botw.
