I remember when Henson's (NOT HANSON'S) point was a quiet spot that almost no one knew of. My friends and I called it View of Chimney Top back in the late 1980s. It's name came from a US forest ranger who was very friendly and had enthusiastic interest in an old legend of KY called the Swift Silver Mine. His last name was Henson not Hanson... Hanson has become a modern bastardization of his name along with Timmon's arch which should be Timmin's as her name was spelled. Sorry for the rant, nice work on the video including the drone!
@@sciotoriverco-op6358 I have been going to the RRGorge since I was 15 (1979). And yes, it is my favorite place to hike and camp. 2-3 times as many miles in user trails as there are official trails. Over 100 arches crammed into an area roughly 7 by 8 miles. The topography is what makes it feel so large. It gets crazy busy do to all the attention of UA-cam videos and climbers from around the world. I have a few secret spots I keep close to me, places I can go to escape the crowds. For the last 7 years I have been helping with trail maintenance which is very satisfying volunteer work. Its such a unique place, I feel almost like I belong there when I am there.
@@sciotoriverco-op6358 Had a distant lightning storm to the east, and nice sunset to the west. I sat down to watch the circus and sure did a lot of spinning. I camped at that last site before you walk out onto the rock, some nice folks were packing out as I arrived. This was also my first test of a new REI Flash Air 1, which worked out fine and kept me dry.
Love Hansons Point..,me and my wife will be out there in a couple weeks. Love this video and the narration!!!
Nice production, and very informative. Can’t wait to see more.
This video is so dope! Made it out there to Hanson's Point today and was overwhelmed with beauty. Can't wait to see more stuff like this! Cheers

That's a cool story. Do you go here often? What is your favorite place to hike and camp?

Nice, I spent the night at Henson's Point just last Sunday night. Thanks for sharing that.
Greg's Videos I hope you grabbed one of the campsites we recommended! There are definitely a lot to choose from. Did you catch a good sunrise/sunset?

Excellent video!!!
That was a great video guys!! Loved it! Some excellent editing, well done! 🤜🤛
Did you like the KUJU coffee?
The Kuju is the best! I tried another brand called Tribo, it is a cheaper pour over, but not near the level of Kuju.
The campsite at 4:03 is the exact campsite me and Ashley camp at if it’s open!!!
Hi Guys! Where do you get the handy coffee filters? ....Thanks
Those were Kuju coffee singles. We picked ours up at REI. We here are other options out there too. Just look for pour over coffees.
