Casey Lee Williams, broke into professional music with providing vocals for RoosterTeeth's show RWBY. If I recall, she was 15 at the first moment?
Now here she is with a banger of a new project, Ok Goodnight. I got to admit I was brought in by Casey Lee Williams, been a fan of her for years.
Yet I cannot deny the raw talent of the entire lineup. Each musician is given time to genuinely show off their skills without ever leaving anyone else behind. The composition is next-level, and I've found a bunch of new talented names thanks to this single. I can't wait to see more.
She did some vocal work for RvB too, if I'm not mistaken, during Freelancer.
She started at the age of 11-12, working on Red vs Blue as a vocalist.

Casey sounds absolutely outstanding! All of it does! As an avid fan on the RWBY soundtrack, this fills the void between releases. I've wanted stuff that sounds like the RWBY songs for soooooo long, but couldn't ever find anything that really clicked with me. I finally found it

I got to admit I wasn't expecting this. In a good way. I know of Casey from her vocal work on the RWBY soundtracks, and this is above what I expected it to be. Her range of vocal range is impressive, enough that it's hard to believe its the same singer.

Damn this is a banger!! The guitar and drum playing are really impressive. And Casey’s vocals are incredible, as always! That piano part also gives creepy-ish vibes and I really like it!
Holy SHIT that was good. The guitar made me think of Lamb of God and the synth made me think of Dream Theater, but they still melded together for a unique sound. That was kickass.

This is better than any RWBY OST you can throw at me. This is Casey’s best work, creating a band where her and a bunch of wonderful musicians can get together and create something more than themselves. Ok Goodnight has become my favorite band, and I have no favorite member. Every piece of this band is integral for every song, and I’m so happy to witness this

Huge huge shoutout to FlyntofRWBY for posting this, would have never known otherwise. I'm a big big metalhead, and this band just instantly shot to my top 5 list. It definitely has a different sound from Casey's work on RWBY, but that doesn't matter, because the song feels genuine, and this band will definitely stand on its own away from RWBY. Big kudos to not only Casey, but OK Goodnight as a whole.

Hell. Yes. Bought on bandcamp, can't wait for the next single/album. Was definitely introduced to Casey Lee Williams by RWBY, and I've enjoyed all of the music from that show; but this certainly stands on it's own as an incredible song. Incredible vocals and seriously addicting instrumental.
