I think it is safe to say, " We wish we could all ride like James." He elevates any trail he rides. It says a lot that Nate can hang on his wheel to create a highlight reel every time they hit a trail.
This may be one of the funnest looking trails I’ve seen you do. Something about the chunk and wide trail that looks like you could visualize it well and let it fly!
It's often covered with especially oblivious hikers, but it is tons of fun if you hit it on the right day. LOB is an out and back too, so you get some fun tech climbs on the same stuff these gentlemen are flying down.
I love dry, cold, and clear weather riding! Some of my best memory days of riding have been in that kind of weather. Quiet, awesome traction, nobody around (cuts both ways if you have a problem at ~20°F though!) and no bugs!
Your videos got me into mtb. When I first rode this trail about a year and a half ago I asked myself, "Wonder how Nate and his friends would ride this..." Pretty cool to watch y'all rip a trail that I actually understand and have ridden.
Found all the fun lines. Cool to see you make it thru those two tight trees towards the bottom. That is janky. Made it when I had smaller handlebars. Now afraid with 800mm. Nice work.
Nate, I'm wondering if you're the guy I worked with at CCR a decade ago? We both lived in the same neighborhood just off Cross St. near Simms. If not- doesn't matter, I really enjoy watching your videos even though I am not a mtn biker.
The videos where James lead you on the trail are my favourite :)
Nice man! I wanted to see you climb that “staircase” on the first climb up! Still trying to get up it myself…
Right I was gonna ask!! Did you guys clean the staircase/rock on the way up? That thing is such a bitch haha!
That was sick boys! As usual, James sees the trail differently than the rest of us. Lol. Love watching him hit all those random lines and boulders.
Always jump everything.

Human highlight reel, that James.
So dope to see yall riding Colorado trails that do all the time.
That looked like incredible fun, super flowy.

Feels great once you get the blood flowing.

Enjoyed the ride from Alicante, Spain.
Another Friday another great Nate Hills follow cam! 😃
So glad the bears cleared the trail for you guys to shred. Great Video!
Thank you bears.
I swear James has gotten even better since I saw him in the follow cams last year. So sick!
Some say he lives with Kangaroos in the off season.
Good 'Ol Jefferson county rock gardens!
Awesome video 🤩💪
didn't know it was possible for that trail to be empty. pays to ride in really cold weather apparently. sick riding, per usual.
My nipples were hard. Paid off I guess.
@@natehills9388 Then all you need is that lone branch to do the nipple whip on you to really feel something special! :)
This great! Thanks for another great video.
Do you ever get to pre ride the trails?
I hadn't ridden this one for more than 10 years. Barely recognizable now.
3:20 I feel like you collided with a tree and edited that out. LOL
Maybe I need to start going that early as I find every time I ride it, it’s non stop pausing for hikers.
Correct friend.
FREERIDAY another GREAT session :)
SICK!!!!

Not me dog.
The Trail Vision of James 👀
Scanning for doubles.
that damn tree at 6:45
Sounds like you have a story to share.... ha
@@natehills9388 800mm bars are just a wee bit too wide to take it head on haha
must of been early on a weekday for it to be this empty on that trail
Bears were hungry.
When is somebody going to follow Nate Hills?
I hate making my friends work ;)
There is a reverse video. A “leadercam” if you like. Forget which one…Nate?
Still never seen a bear up there...
You don't see them, but they see you....
Unreal. James must sit and watch these videos on his TV and think to himself, in the famous words of Ice Cube….”G*d damn I’m such a G it’s pathetic…”
Bonus points for Ice Cube lyrics.
2:13 extremely sketch. I’ve had a big one right there.
Da BEar!
James has to be related to Tigger, he's orange, he jumps...
Cut from the same cloth.
Peace to the bikers whoever you are whoever you are
Thats my neighborhood
Are you the bear that lives in the lair?
Yooooo
Depth of vocabulary.
@@natehills9388 What are you silly? Dude was sending it.
23 degrees.......that is nut shriveling weather. James sure doesn't believe in the law of gravity.
Good temps for climbing;)
