I purposely waited til I got home to watch on my 4k television and I have to say it was well worth it. Thank you again Mr Hills for sharing this awesome ride with us!
The whole bush whacking thing is so familiar to me in OH, but that lower half in the high desert was sweet. Reminds me of Anasazi's descent that sends you back into town off the Telegraph trail system.
Love the ride up Junction Creek, and then blast down Hoffein's, back up Dry Fork, then down The CT segment flow back Junction Creek. My fav Durango trail beside shuttling Hermosa Creek.
Which bike for which trail? Bike Trail Match. It'd be cool if you'd announce or post (under title on screen) at the beginning of each video WHICH bike you are riding for that trail. We know you have a large stable of bikes and are a world class rider. I'd like to know which bike you ride on each trail. For instance, for this ride, did you pick a short travel 29'er for the back country distance? Or did you pick a long travel 27'er for the unexpected chunk? Air shock or spring? Or something else? My curious mind would like to know. Maybe others too. : )
This is answered in my video description;) Riding 130lr here. Keep in mind that I don't have multiple bikes with me while traveling, so "run what you brung" rules are usually at play. All of my bikes are fun, but rarely ridden for a specific trail.
If you have enough time in Durango you should do Red creek. It’s a bit annoying to get to because you have to ride along the missionary ridge trail for a while but it is my favorite downhill trail here and would make a sick video.
In your opinion, how much better does the SB130 LR feel compared to the regular. Because I have ridden a regular 130 for a tad over a year and usually ride steep/chunk/gnar here in SoCal. Its an Easy convert, just looking to hear your opinion.
I have only run lr spec since before it was a thing. I personally like the feel of a taller front end. I am not sure why you wouldn't run it like this. Feels great to me.
@@natehills9388 Nice, we might have been out there on the same day. Looks like you were smart and shuttled. We rode directly out of town. That climb was rough.
Don't fall left.

Best viewed on the big screen with beer in hand!
tasty looking trail, nice greenery and chunk sections.
It’s finally Friday! You know it is a good day when Nate posts! You make great videos!
Cheers
Nate, Kudos to Alex! 3000' and 4 miles of pure enjoyment!! Great ride my man! Enjoy the cold suds. Blue skies, Jg
Alex is always a pleasure to chase.
Sweet trail. Loose, off camber and chunky. Looks like a really long descent too, will have to make it up there sometime :)
Get some.
You guys should form a mountain bike group and ride this trail together call your group "the nates"
Next year we are going down towards Durango for sure!
Enjoy!
never fails to keep my Saturday mornings pumped! trail's tight and exposed, and oh man that off-cambered exposure...yikes! rad!!!

Love the natural tight backcountry stuff!
What I have been enjoying the most lately.
Scrapy natural!
Awesome!! That trail looks badass, you killed it!
My favorite trail in Durango! You should showcase more Durango riding, it's killer out here.

Indeed, the riding here is world-class
@@petedog9581 Hermosa Creek is definitely in my top 5 trails of all time!!!
wooow final segment is really awesome !!!
Good stuff! Definitely kept you on your toes. Looked a lot like the whole enchilada in how it changes as you go down in elevation.
Cheers boys
amazing bikes and roads my friend ! yea
New bars? What happened to the stickers?
You gotta ride Junction Creek CT segment from Dry Fork, just west of town. The 140 already knows!
I have ridden that a bunch. Great piece of trail.

Copy. I'll give that one a rip.
Nice track brothers, view awesome cheers from Indonesia
interesting terrain. looks like a fire ripped through there. lots of tree carnage.
Amazing experience 🤗♥️
Sick man!!
The bottom half of that trail was bitchen! Alpine to desert, what a cool trail.
Cool transition at the bottom.

Great quality Id like to go there and ride. Can you provide trailhead details I would appreciate it.
Search Haflin in Trail Forks and you will find it
0:49 what, you didnt install Yeti's new dual-hedgers onto your axles?
Pruning mods.
God I love that place!!! Don't know why I decide to move back to Connecticut!🙄
Man that's some tight ass singletrack!
Hard to turn when you can't lean your bike, haha.
Amazing brother 😍💪🏻🔥☠️
Wow. Sick AF.
Is it allowed to climb up from other end on this single track ?
You wouldn't climb up this one. It is accessed from a road to the top.
yay! I’m the first to a Nate Hills video!
Pizza port! It’s like seeing someone I know hanging out with someone famous
What a freaking cool ride that was. How was the climb to the top? Thanks for sharing Nate.
We did that after our 25mile am ride. So we shuttled some and pedaled about 30min on top of shuttle.
So sick
Muito bom fazer trilha ! Brasil
tempting at 9:54
Yes, but no. I saw it and rode by it and landing was not clean at all after all the rain. Glad I did t go for it!
I rode this one about the month ago....it's a spicy meatball!!!!
This was filmed about a month ago.

Riding on EDGE, FREERIDAY :)
GooooooD~~~ㅎㅎ
Edgy stuff, as always!
Those thumb downs must of fell ... left. 😉
Bots fall left.
So blurry hard to watch. Trail looked cool from what I could see.
Change the quality setting to 4K

3K ft descent and every mature tree has been logged. I love your videos but this makes me sad to be human.
There was a big fire there couple years ago. Lot of dead trees down.
