Pretty informative review of the GT4 thx, but the ST185 RC's had 232HP / 225 torque up from the 225hp/ 225 torque of the base model and water jet sprayers on the front water cooler as well as only having 1800 units produced. The ST205 WRC edition also made 265HP / 225 torque up from the 255hp of the base model
fun fact about the Celica gt-four RC only 1800 were made for the Japanese market all others of were for the European markets and they were called the Carlos sainz limited edition.
Considering the 2zz loves boost, it's a shame they didn't have a boosted sports option. Even remaining FWD it's a very agile car. There were some AWD 7th gen Celica's, but no homologations.
Really strange question, but how does the JDM ST185/ST205 do on the fuel here? I know they're more aggressively tuned for the higher octane fuel you find in Japan, but how do they deal with the 93(91 in higher altitude areas) cap most places have?
get one. i sold mine for 2100gpb. it seemed an ok ptice. now 5 years later they go for 7-10000gbp. i also scrapped an st185, now theyre worth 1500-5000gbp ! st205 will be a 20k car in 10 years.
Toyota stopped making the Rally car celica when they got banned from Rally races for the performance of the Gen 6 celica gt4 and it's 0-60 time of just about seconds all day long with an engine rated just about 250whp.
Shouldnt the st205 be able to import soon. I want the next car i get to something my wife likes as well. Says she likes the look of these more then the r32 gtr and she doesnt like our gtir at all.

anti lag was pre plumbed in on the 185 rc and cs aswell

What trim of the st185 had airbags?
So 205 not available for import till next year I thought it was legal car since early generations was imported
