I'm not sure if I'm allergic to braid hair, but when I get my hair braided my neck turn black and it's very itchy. And my face breakout,so I will try Brazilian wool and see the side affects. Is Brazilian wool heavy? AMEN!
My saloon doesn't stretch my natural hair. Always braids it like that and its 100% neat. Infact, I haven't seen a saloon over here that straightens natural hair to braid it.
@@luchimiracle3167 lucky you since in Kenya Salonists are crazy when it comes to braiding. They want us to have European kind of straight hair. I hate it so much since at first, straightening that hair is so painful due to my weak scalp and secondly it's not healthy for the natural hair
That's not fair and it's not healthy at all. I remember when I transitioned, and the saloon person told me to relax my hair so the braids would be neater. I stopped going there and in my new saloon, they make my hair as it is. I even inspired my hair dresser to go natural.
From seeing you ise this to do crochet braids, I started using this for my cornrows. I love this so much more than braiding hair! It's easy to braid and holds in moisture. Thus, it doesn't cut my hair and helps it grow. My coworker used this to braid traditional extensions curved cornrows up do. She pulled otto tightly. However, I was able to pull out the beginnings of the braids and sew the yarn back into place with a straight needle. She also left out the middle at the top of my head and it felt great! I crocheted some curly afro kinky hair onto an elastic, added it to the top and put the thin garnet on it and my bun was absolutely fabulous! When I took my hair down, it had grown enough in 2 weeks to be able to get it silk pressed and cut. I can still braid all of my hair and I think my weak spot on my crown grew back more healthy because of the wool yarn. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you for such a great video. I love your explanations. I learnt to braid so i could do my boys hair and now i would like to learn how add hair and extensions for my other family members. You teach so well ❤

@@peacem1553 People call it different names, but what we call braiding hair like Expression hair, passion twists (some call it hair extensions) , that's normally used in feed-in cornrows is made of plastic. I don't know about the clip-in hair extensions. I suck at explaining but I hope you understand 😅

Great style. I like the finished work but I must say the talking was too much that I have to skip a lot to cut the talking short because I really wanted to watch till end.

I think only Americans do that, I was confused when I found out people straighten their hair and use gel to braid.

@@peacem1553 It's acrylic wool but with a silky texture, and it looks like natural hair unlike braid (hair extensions) which is made of plastic.
