- Kolkata Metro's most talked about route Kavi Shubhash New Garia to Kolkata Airport via sector 5 is under construction yet but as of now it's partially operational from New Garia to Ruby crossing, on the other hand Kolkata metro officials are trying to start it till beleghata cause all works are almost done, but there was few problems regarding traffic management in two sections one at Chingrihata and an other at Chinar park, koikhali, Haj House crossing, Things are sorted and work has started, according to sources by end of 2024 this section of underground might srart. with a lot of hopes this video is created.

বাইপাস দিয়ে যাতায়াত করছি দীর্ঘদিন। এসব হবে হবে করতে করতে রিটায়ার করে গেলাম। মাঝখানে বেশ কিছুটা সময় দিল্লি তে কেটেছে । ওখানে ২০০০ সাল নাগাদ কাজ শুরু হয়েছিল। শীলা দীক্ষিত তখন মুখ্যমন্ত্রী। আজ ওদের ৩০০ কিমি এর উপর দিয়ে মেট্রো চলছে সারা শহর জুড়ে এবং নয়ডা , গুড়গাও পর্যন্ত। সেখানে ১৯৮৬ সালে শুরু করে আমাদের মেট্রো পথ মাত্র ৫৬ কিমি এর মতো । নয় জমিজট , নয় রাজনৈতিক রেষারেষি, নয় পুলিশী বাধা । আর কাজের যেন কোন দ্রুততা নেই । ঢিলেঢালা। দিল্লিতে দেখেছি যুদ্ধকালীন তৎপড়তায় কাজ এগুচ্ছে। রাত বারোটায় শেষ মেট্রো। তিন মিনিট অন্তর ট্রেন। এখানে রুট চালু হলেও , চালানোর লোক নেই , টিকিট বেচার লোক নেই ইত্যাদি।
তাই এরাজ্যে সবকিছুর মতো মেট্রোর কাজ ও তথৈবচ। কবে শেষ হবে কেউ জানে না ।

দিল্লী মেট্রো একটি স্বাধীন করপোরেশন।যেখানে ৫০ শতাংশের উপর বেসরকারি মালিকানা আছে।দিল্লী মেট্রো র কর্মচারীরা কেউ সরকারী কর্মচারী নয়।দিল্লী মেট্রো রেল দপ্তর নিয়ন্ত্রিত ও নয়।সব সুবিধা থাকা সত্ত্বেও দিল্লী মেট্রোর ভাড়া অনেক বেশি।কলকাতায় মেট্রোতে যে দূরত্ব ১০ টাকায় যাওয়া যায়,সেই দূরত্ব যেতে ভাড়া দিল্লিতে ৩০/৪০ টাকা।
@@rng9339 সে যাই হোক , সরকারী বা বেসরকারী সংস্থা, আপনার পরিষেবা নিয়ে কথা । আর ভাড়া অতটা বেশী নয় , যতটা বলছেন। এছাড়া শনিবার, রবিবার ও ছুটির দিন ভাড়া কমে যায় । দুতিন মিনিট অন্তর ট্রেন, রাত বারোটা পর্যন্ত ট্রেন । ঝকঝকে এসি কোচ , সব স্টেশনে সুলভ শৌচাগার। প্রায় সব জায়গায় পৌঁছে গেছে মেট্রো। ভাড়া সামান্য বেশি হলে তাও ভালো। এটাই তো উন্নয়ন।
Only the Kolkata Metro is completely funded by the Indian Railways. As a result, the construction is slow apart from the land acquisition issue but eventually the fare is very very low similar to the suburban EMU trains starting from just ₹5. You can check the Metro fare of other cities in India.

রুট না বাড়িয়ে পরিসেবা বাড়াতে হবে রুবি কবি সুভাষ রুটে শেষ গাড়ী ছাড়ে বিকেল পাঁচটায় অথচ এলাকার বেশীরভাগ অফিস ছুটি হয় ছটার পরে রাত আটটা অবধি metro চললে যাত্রীদের বাদুর ঝোলা হয়ে যাতায়াত করতে হতো না
বাঙ্গালী আজ সব দিক দিয়েই ভীষণ ভাবে পিছিয়ে পড়েছে, খুবই দুঃখজনক।
কোন দিন কাজ শেষ করে ট্রেন চলবে বলে মনে হয় না।

Metro Rail কাজে এতো ঢিলা যে কোনও জায়গার কাজ দেখলেই বোঝা যায় l Chennai, Mumbai, Bangalore এর মেট্রো র কাজ আমি দেখেছি , কোনো তুলনা হয়না ....এখানে সব কিছুই যেন ঘুমোচ্ছে !

Actually annual allotment of money is inadequate
Railway has other priorities like LHB production, Kavach installation and VB trainsets. Plus there's a lot of open vacancies to fill up. Why focus on just 1 city with a limited budget? This is understandable.
What is regrettable that instead of admitting this, RVNL is putting all the blame on the State Government. This is done by internal sabotage and PR. For example, RVNL has requested just weeks before to get permission for roadblocks. Now, the State needs months' notice to create diversion and plan this. Even when such diversion is operationalised, the railway would just erect the pillars, but not the girders. In the meantime, the news channel says State is not cooperating. Rail has progress base budget allotment. So if work is sabotaged, less money is allocated next budget.
It is true during the initial days that land acquisition was slow. And that was due to the State Government. But now the State government is just a scapegoat.
I was in Kolkata for a month few weeks back. And the finger pointing tactic is clear.
