The 720s will close automatically like their real life counterparts however on the real life train they will automatically close but remain unlocked until driver presses the door close button to interlock the doors. In TSW 4 they can't implement that so in game when automatically close they will close and interlocked as if the player has closed the doors by press the door close button. It is not a bug they had to choose to whether to always keep doors open or have it like the real train with the doors automatic door close after a certain time
@@blueb0g no it’s not a bug. Because the game wants the player to always have the ability to open a door, even if the train is completely shut down, you can open the doors
Elizabeth Line doesn’t belong to TfL even though its the same train with totally different interior and even if the Elizabeth Line belonged to TfL, it wouldn’t be possible because of the Heathrow Express branch. Heathrow doesn’t want nothing to do with TSW 4 at all. So yeah. I mean it’s possible but unfortunately Dovetail Games are losing or have lost the license to GWR so yeah. They’ll have to regain the license again, and do a total overhaul of the GWR route, timetable, new modern trains, scenery, bref, like what they did with West Somerset Railway, they’ll have the exact same with the GWR route. I mean don’t get me wrong. It’s 100% possible. But unfortunately there’s 2 problems here. Which are Heathrow branch and licenses.
Or if you want you can add the Class 710 in your own scenario in the Modern-ish timetable in GWR route but yes I understand it would be the same. But yeah. It comes down to politics, licenses and route branches not cooperating with wanting to be a part of a train simulator unfortunately
I ride the GOBLIN to and from work everyday(like you, I'm a train dispatcher). The doors do close automatically to keep the ambient temperature in the train to the set temperature. The doors however should not interlock. DTG has released an update recently where the doors close but require you to press the door close button to gain interlock from the previous release where the doors interlock on their own. Further update, the step braking has been reduced so you can sort of get "variable" braking percentage but with the step notches still incorporated.
Got this add-on on the series x yesterday, imo one of the best add ons they've done. Acceleration of these is impressive, braking not so. The AI traffic on the line itself is impressive, havent seen any ecml traffic yet on the overbridge between Haringay green and Crouch Hill. (supposed to get Azma and Thameslink?) But cool overall
Agreed a more modern tube line is needed… personally I’d love the Central or District Lines as they’re my local lines but they’re both one of the longest on the network so I doubt that’ll happen… maybe the Victoria or Jubilee line could be good…
Re : Your comment in the video about the Network SouthEast branding at one of the stations. Were you thinking of Essex Road on the Northern City line? (Moorgate to Finsbury Park)
No to that, however that is a lovely station! Remember watching a Geoff Marshall video at one of those larger Northeast London stations in which an NSE sign was still present?
Driver Reminder Appliance - you put it on when at a red signal or leaving the cab 👍 Stops you applying power, so a safety thing to stop you closing the doors and going through a red light
i wish i had the actual tsw3 so i can get this line because i just have a pirated version with the old british routes like bakerloo line or diesel ones or the diesel routes or the gatwick express and southern addon...
I think I can offer an explanation for the doors. With the new trains in East Anglia, 720s and the FLIRTs, the doors close but remain unlocked so they can be opened with the button. This is to allow for a quicker departure.
The whole underground section under London is fully automated. It would make it the most boring thing to do. Plus we already have Reading to Paddington as a map
Do you know if us PS4 players will get all the layers of the Gospel Oak to Barking Riverside DLC on the PS4 please???. And before anyone asks. Yes I have the Class 800/1 LNER Azuma trains, I also have the Gatwick Express trains, the Class 700 ThamesLink trains, I also have the steam trains, the Class 66 EWS train, the Class 33 WSR train, the Class 20 train, The class 37/7 ROG. I basically have 57 DLC's in my TSW 4 game on my PS4, most of them are British, some are American and some are German. I also have the Southeastern and all fhe British DLC's 🙂. I also have the 1938 London Underground Tube Stock too, Flying Scotsman 🙂. I also have the FKA wagons, the Class 66 (as mentioned above), I also have all the Class 66 variants, the Rail Treatment Train, Diesel and Steam rail bundles too.
The route looks great. But why has the route such some strange slow sections as for example at ca 18min? Straight tracks, but train must slow down to 20mph. Bad tracks, or bridges in real, that could not stand higher speeds?
I was playing the Goblin line recently on TSC, I've got to say it;s pretty boring. They should of built the 3rd rail Medway Valley line instead (Strood to Paddock Wood/Tonbridge) for TSW

It is a bug. How is that not a bug? It's a game they made, and they can't handle a difference between doors closed and doors interlocked. It's a joke.
@@blueb0g no it’s not a bug. Because the game wants the player to always have the ability to open a door, even if the train is completely shut down, you can open the doors
I hope Train Sim World generally get more tube and overground lines, they're so much fun... District Line would be insane
Hope they can follow this up and add the North London Line (Mildmay Line I think it’s called now) or maybe even add the Elizabeth line…
😅
NLL would be 😍
You can do your own scenario with the London overground class 710 on the Bakerloo line

Can’t wait to purchase this route. Looks really good to me and value for money too.
I played this last night and I love it
Thank you for sharing this Joe, hopefully dovetail can watch this back and make some changes to tweak the shop fronts for example
Hope so!
them doors closing by themselves will be great. just speed off soon as they shut! trains wait for no 1 when im driving
Thanks for confirming the screens in the cab I was really hoping they made it useful tho
Our new 777s on Merseyrail also have auto closing doors. You have to press a button to open, or reopen while standing.
Watching this on a train so feel the bumps. 😅

You'll see Azumas if you have the ECML & of course if you'll see the 700 if you have that DLC.
I am exited. I'm also excited for metrolink's San Bernardino line
Lovely route. But I’ll wait it out to a nice deal later this year. I just bought Glossop for 10€ much more affordable
Jubilee line should be on TSW4 or another underground line

10:44 The top speed is actually 55 when coming into Gospel Oak.
Would that be for the North London Lines?
Edit - ah yes on the approach after Upper Holloway
@@TheBritishAce Yes and I think it goes 55 from Barking to Barking Riverside.
I wonder will it be layered on the Bakerloo line in the future because there's a bit of Watford DC line that's technically driveable
If u go to barking platform 1 there's a lift what works up and down
That’s good Alfie

Hello! Thank you for the video! What exactly is the DRA and the purpose of this button? Thank you!

Yes, also to regulate the Air Conditioning 😎Most trains have a self close on them including the 377s
SEHS still the best UK route for me
It's great!
Elizabeth line would be fabulous
The whole underground section under London is fully automated. It would make it the most boring thing to do. Plus we already have Reading to Paddington as a map
Only the central London section is but after Stratford it’s manually driven
Can you operate the passenger doors?
Yes, using the buttons in the cab 👍
@@TheBritishAce but do they close automatically? And if yes can you turn this setting off
18:08 I use Xbox and how do I enable the fast camera for TSW4
And I use the series s
I have a keyboard plugged in :)
Oh
Do you think they'll make a route in Northern Ireland

Hey how do I get this route on XBOX
Out at 10am

What I'm trying to figure out as well 🤣
Trying to bring it inline with American train operating practices.
How the hell do you get your graphics like that? Is it PC?
Series X 👍
Looks similar to Glossop Line
I bet were gunna get a 172 dlc like the class 484
Would be cool!
Goblin line?
The lin bit is goblin!

Sorry I can’t be here but I don’t want any Route scenery spoilers 😂
The way the shadows of the rails load 5 meters in front of the locomotive is so annoying. They'd rather remove the shadow completely.
😮💨
Theres a serious issue with the sounds from the external its too loud. Lmao. But not internally. Internally they are accurate asf

No way is that London. Way too quiet.
