Nice KTM! Wow, gorgeous machine man! I heard you talking about my dream bike... The 2019 or later -(for me lol), BMW S1000RR! I love that bike! Another great BMW you probably know and may like is... A 2009-2016 BMW K1300S... It's heavier and not as quick as the 1000RR, but it has more torque at 103 LB-FT, and it still has an incredible 175 HP. I freaking love the way that K1300S looks! Anyway, sorry for all the comments, but thank you for making these videos for us! I'm in North Georgia, so we have amazing mountain roads to ride on as well. Good times 👍
Man I enjoy your vids so damn much! Glad your back riding in the States and cant' wait for more! Dude you just understand the power of sportbikes and how to rep as a sportbike rider and how badass and important and fun sick looking riding gear and full leathers are! Mad respect for how you ride in the full leathers and walk into places and all that haha cant imagine how many heads you have to turn when your out there man! so cool how you chat with people and all that too and include it in the vids! You represent sportbike riders so damn well dude keep it up!
@@itsmeericb yeah man your doing all that for srue! And also a great example of how to be safe and gear up and look cool and turn heads while riding! Really admire that bro
Enjoyed the content Eric!! I’m so glad you touched on the topic of riding your ride, and not worrying about how fast others are going. Definitely more enjoyable when you lock in and block out everything and everyone else. IMO, some of the best rides when I’m able to do that 🤙🏼
Nice video Eric! Very responsible riding and wearing the kit you do. One can't compromise on one's safety. A power commander and a remapping would smoothen the bike out.
I've seen you a few times on the hill. That KTM looks and sounds badass going by. I'm usually parked at mile 6, stop and bullshit some time. I've got an mt10 with pink grips, can't miss it.
Yeah it can be hit or miss with this bike. There are a few gems out there and there are a lot of beat up ones. If you can find a clean one between $9k-$10k that isn't bad. If you can find one for $8k even better. Seems like the going price has been between $10k and $12k at the most depending on condition and mileage.
How long and how many miles did you put on your Rc8? Did you buy it used? Maintenance cost throughout the life you had the bike? And any major issues along the way? Thank you
Right on thanks for the info. Been wanting one of these for a while and finally am in a position to purchase one so trying to get owner opinions before taking the leap
I’m surprised how many people want the RC8 lad their dream bike. Doesn’t seem to be as popular as the R1 or s1000rr. Since the RC8 isn’t made anymore and it’s a Vtwin that could be one reason.
Jerky throttle is annoying. I had an ‘06 FZ1N. They have the same issue… Coming out of a corner, twist the throttle, half a second nothing, aaand… a jerk and there we go… it’s a on/off kinda thing…
@@itsmeericb It's a big twin thing. The 8R can be made a bit smoother with ECU remapping, but you'll always have something of that aggressive throttle pickup and also the heavy engine braking.
No you are not Maxwrist, but neither you crashed and bought 20 different bikes in the last 5 years either. If I was riding as calm as you back in the days I would of probably still have my 2005 GSXR-1000 and 2004 ZX-10R... Thanks for the lake view, looks like a nice place to relax the mind and gaze up on it.
It's such a fine line of wanting to really really rip my bike (890 duke) and not care, vs. NOT wanting to wreck my bike or myself lol. Beautiful bike man! Definitely keep it. KTMs have a awesome sound and feel to them.
Ride your ride don't apologize for enjoying it how you want. Great video and what a beautiful day.
Yessir! Thanks!
Woah. That KTM is hard
The RC8R is a great bike for the dragon, if anyone told you about a Canadian with a black RC8R that comes there annually, that’s me
I think so! I have a friend that has a Red Bull RC8 and he said something about a black RC8 up there.
Nothing can compare to a rc8 its just sooooooooo goood looking 😊 cant wait to ride mine again

Hey thanks for watching and commenting! 💪 I actually have not seen the K1300S. I will have to go check it out! The KTM is a wonderful machine!

Thanks! Yeah can’t try to keep up with everyone else or ride beyond your limits.
Nice video Eric! Very responsible riding and wearing the kit you do. One can't compromise on one's safety. A power commander and a remapping would smoothen the bike out.
Thanks! Yeah that was the plan if I still had the bike. Gave it up for a Ducati lol.
I love your content! You reminds me imKay somehow… I love it!
Haha! Thanks! 😎
Just took a Vanderhall Carmel down the Dragon last week! Had a blast!
Nice! It’s always a good time there!
Ride your ride homie! Love your work
Thank you! 💪
Great road and nice ridin man

Oh are you routinely up at the dragon? I live 4 hours away.
Beautiful!
Great video bro that’s definitely a unique ride pretty cool…
Thanks! Riding out at the Dragon is always an awesome experience! Meeting awesome people and the scenery is beautiful as well!
@@itsmeericb U welcome Bro and yeah man looked like fun…
Just got mine last week 🎉🎉🎉
Mine is the opposite my first gear is so twitchy I need to be in second.
Awesome! 👏
I'm wanting one of these bikes but the prices are all over the place. What is a good price?

I think total I put about 3,000 miles on it when I had it. I bought it used and did my own maintenance. No major issues for me.

That is one of my dream toys. That and the S1000RR HP4

Whats it like living my dream 😭😭😭
RC8R❤❤
MOTO BROS kill it up there.
Yeah there are some guys that push the limits up here! Not me though! 😂 I’m slowwww 🐌
keep the bike brother....trust me, you may regret selling it, cause its a rare find and yours especially in a good condition..
Too late! 😢 I ended up selling it for a Ducati Panigale 1199s
@@itsmeericb Ahh broo... sad indeed, but it is what it is... cheer up brother
This will be my fisrt superbike that I buy.

Yes it can be! Lol only thing I really didn’t like about the RC8.
