Just so you know one of my careers was a radio deejay and my knowledge of pop probably far exceeds yours. Just so you know, I have seen Dimash since 2017, I have introduced his music to tons and tons of people, and I have attended his concerts when I can. However, there are certain genres that suit him better than others. El Amor En Ti is fabulous, but it is somewhat ruined by his Michael Jackson interpretation added to it. Some of the pop songs he writes are not as attractive and when they are in English, they really do not suit him as he matures as a singer. Dimash is always interesting, but he doesn’t always choose everything correctly. However, of course, he should experiment. Even Pavarotti didn’t choose certain crossover songs well. It doesn’t mean I don’t like Pavarotti. In fact there were tons of people who criticized the 3Tenors collaboration. So what? There have been singers, both Pop and Opera, that I have loved, who have been criticized by friends and colleagues. As I grew in listening to voices and expanding my breadth in music, I realized that the points that they made were actually correct in some cases. So what? However, as a multi talented artist Dimash needs to expand and from what I hear, pop isn’t where he needs to expand into because that becomes same old, same old even though a song is different. There are actually fantastic pop songs that have already been written that would give him the breadth and the scope to express his amazing talent and it would be fabulous to hear him sing some of those. I listen to music and singers with a very discerning ear and I am not afraid to say that somebody I adore and admire like Dimash, gets it wrong sometimes. You don’t have to defend, imagine you grasp what I am saying and then accuse me of not knowing what he does. Are you a pop snob? There are certain people I introduced Dimash to who don’t like him at all and I am still working on them to change their minds. Open yours up too. I will say it again - as Dimash matures, the absolutely gorgeous melodies and acting roles within the realms of opera is where Dimash should expand into. He should also, NEVER stop singing the beautiful, lyrical music of Igor Krutoy or other lyrical composers like Piergiuseppe Zaia and he should write his Khazak songs and sing them, because they are gorgeous.
This must have been so exciting for Dimash. I bet his parents cried, finding out that Placido was excited to meet their boy. Placido is 82 and is still powerful.

Virtuosos is a talent show for young talents in classical music. Domingo and Dimash were part of the jury members. We saw 6 amazing young talents today and the performance of these 2 judges for part 1 of the final show. The show was aired on UA-cam and also on Hungarian TV. It was a dream duet for all of us.

Couldn’t sleep the night before so I went online to watch other old performances of this duet by other famous singers. Well, that was worth it because when Dimash opened his mouth, it was a shock how much better his voice is!

Placido Domingo was excited to meet Dimash, that was cute video. This was before they decided to sing a duet too. I've seen Placido Domingo at the Metropolitan Opera House, but this was such a treat.

Mi-aș dori să amestece chiar mai mult acest gen în spectacolele lui, ca pe un alt gen din cele multe, nu cred că publicul lui drag s-ar supăra. Așa, ca o picătură serioasă, nu că celelalte nu ar fi serioase, printre zâmbete și lacrimi. Ar deschide și sufletul altora, ce nu știu exact ce poate însemna opera și ar fi frumos. Depinde doar de el. Oricum, mă bucur că s-a deschis mai larg această ușă către elitele muzicale, e și asta o palmă serioasă pentru cei ce spun că Dimash doar strigă și face lipsink.😂 A fost perfct! Îmi imaginez că a convertit toate emoțiile, inerente unei astfel de întâlniri visate, în profesionalism și frumusețe. Bravo, Dimash!❤

It’s not that the Opera community won’t accept or won’t embrace Dimash. The opera community has been waiting for Dimash to step into their enclave. He is wasted if he doesn’t do more opera. There are so many fabulous arias, gorgeous pieces, that are waiting for Dimash‘s interpretation. He would enrich his fans, and the opera community, if he decides it is not so boring after all. I mean, look what the three tenors did for Opera: their 1990 album is still the best selling opera album of all time, or actually, classical music album of all time. As Dimash has said, Pavarotti and Domingo brought him to music. I think he should bring many more young people to classical music through his great talent. This is certainly one of the most beautiful renditions of this aria I have ever heard. Domingo is still amazing, now doing baritone at 80+ years old. What a gift he has been to so many generations! I hope Dimash will be an inspiration to many more young people in this beautiful field of music.

All artists recognise each other, Dimash is unique. He's worked with maestros from all music genres, Lang Lang in China, Krutoy and Aida, Question of Honour, ad lib for Andrea Bocelli etc. I don't understand why you are surprised.

Mi-aș dori să amestece chiar mai mult acest gen în spectacolele lui, ca pe un alt gen din cele multe, nu cred că publicul lui drag s-ar supăra. Așa, ca o picătură serioasă, nu că celelalte nu ar fi serioase, printre zâmbete și lacrimi. Ar deschide și sufletul altora, ce nu știu exact ce poate însemna opera și ar fi frumos. Depinde doar de el. Oricum, mă bucur că s-a deschis mai larg această ușă către elitele muzicale, e și asta o palmă serioasă pentru cei ce spun că Dimash doar strigă și face lipsink.😂 A fost perfct! Îmi imaginez că a convertit toate emoțiile, inerente unei astfel de întâlniri visate, în profesionalism și frumusețe. Bravo, Dimash!❤

It’s not that the Opera community won’t accept or won’t embrace Dimash. The opera community has been waiting for Dimash to step into their enclave. He is wasted if he doesn’t do more opera. There are so many fabulous arias, gorgeous pieces, that are waiting for Dimash‘s interpretation. He would enrich his fans, and the opera community, if he decides it is not so boring after all. I mean, look what the three tenors did for Opera: their 1990 album is still the best selling opera album of all time, or actually, classical music album of all time. As Dimash has said, Pavarotti and Domingo brought him to music. I think he should bring many more young people to classical music through his great talent. This is certainly one of the most beautiful renditions of this aria I have ever heard. Domingo is still amazing, now doing baritone at 80+ years old. What a gift he has been to so many generations! I hope Dimash will be an inspiration to many more young people in this beautiful field of music.
