Five differences I see and know compared with my 23 x1 28i with MSport pkg: 1) rear spoiler of 24 is more aggressive than my 23 (it has the same configuration like the 24 35i). 2) wow, spare tire no longer standard like on my 23. 3) i do know they removed the light fixture in the front glove compartment vs the 23 4) they deleted the front driver and passenger MSport aluminum entry sills vs. the 23 has like mine. 5) the seats are now Veganza leather compared to the 23 sensatec leather. Yhe veganza looks and feels more like traditional leather with a softer feel since i had time in a 24 x1 when my 23 x1 was being serviced.
i just watched a reviewer doing the XLine version (not the MSport version that you are reviewing) and there ARE differences betwee the two: spare tire was in the XLine version and retains the same rear spoiler like in 2023. The 2024 MSport 28i version has the more agressive rear spoiler just like the 2024 M35i.
The delay noted at 4:20 and again at 4:51 in normal Drive mode is due to the automatic Stop/Start system which is disabled in Low or Sport modes. You also can disable Stop/Start in the menu system, which can be simplified by saving this option as a shortcut. This approach differs from Low or Sport by not affecting the gear shift points.
More of an ad than a review. Not all is good with the X1. No paddle shifters unless you buy M Sport. Choppy transmission. Cant downshift the vehicle without M sport (Paddle shifters required), 7 speed dual clutch is very laggy at the line (He mentioned it). Not a bad car but lacks the refinement of others.

Great review! Man, the X1 is getting expensive!

can you keep it permanently disabled or do you have to disable it over and over again every time you turn the car on?
Great job & I should consider buy this instead.
First comment. Miss my 2021 x1
