- I give you a quick test/benchmark -- if you think you are making efforts to learn to speak English fluently, how many hours in the last month did you actually speak with your mouth?
If that number is not significant.. Your strategy is wrong.. You are lying to yourself.. Simple as that.
I see people searching for courses, books, apps, teachers…. Searching for this rule, that rule, this exception.. This and that…
I see people giving less priority to actual speaking activity with mouth.. The physical activity… I see people making excuses....
In reality it’s the Resistance of doing the actual work, facing difficulties, possibility of facing shame even
You can’t learn cycling by reading ‘how to cycle’, you really have to get on one and pedal.. So what if you fall a few times.. That’s still the best and fastest way to learn how to cycle.
Don’t waste time.. Get to the actual thing and move on.. Don’t go here and there.. Take the shortcut..
Obviously I am not against writing, listening etc but do them after you have done speaking for the day

Apply this learning to other areas of life too (i.e. don’t avoid the single most important activity)

I just came to know about you a couple of weeks ago and liked your videos very much. Believe me I have spent more than 50 hours in watching your videos in just two to three weeks which, no doubt, are full of motivations. I have felt my lectures in calss are much more effective now. My students are taking more interest in attending my classes in the English learning centre. Your recent video of " Input/Output Goals impressed me a lot. Thanks for your video. Sometimes I gave excuse my spoken English but I don't give excuse speaking English myself. Now I just practice speaking myself and I can not get learn properly. I promise myself that I will practice my speaking English to another person.

You are 100% correct that we have to come up with our comfort zone to learn something new in our life. I connect with every single word which you use in your motivational speech and it gives me fuel to do my work. I have gone through this situation in my life when I started learning to drive a car. I always blame myself for not being perfect in driving and for being perfect I was doing nothing. One day my car met with an accident luckily we were safe that incident shook my confidence. It was my husband who came to me and said now you would learn better. We all learn better with our experience. Now I drive a car with confidence and all credit goes to my husband who supports and motivates me when I was shaken up by a negative impact. Now the same is happening with my English. Here Aleena is my motivator I was about to give up the hope to speak English but now I am working on that and putting extra effort to improve my English. Thanks, Aleena once again.

Ya you're right without speaking ourselves or with other we can't be fluent in English ,i'm start to learn this skill from ramzan .In that time I wondered merely by reading and watching English things we'll learn that language but without speaking with someone we are never able to gain confident to speak in English after watching your so many videos i start speak with my self and I saw the difference but still I'm hesitant to speak with other i don't know why , maybe due to lack of confidence ,but inshallah one day I'll be the fluent speaker .Thanks to motivate us n giving such tips n ideas😊

thank you for the tips aleena , we have to do the actual work which is very important "speaking" it seems like someone wants to learn how to swim you can't learn it by just knowing all the steps and strategy for swimming but you have to go through the water and get rid all your doubts to yourself for you to actualy learn. i'm gonna speak in english language now more often 😁✌️

Assalamualikum. I am from Bangladesh. I do follow your English video for last two month. I like your content which inspire me to much. I want to improve my writing and speaking skill. But there is no person next to me who will help me. I need a person who will conversate with me in daily basis. As a result, I can't improve my English language. Dearest Aleena, whatever you speak here is 100% true. People are running behind in many grammar and online classes, and at the end of the day, they may learn how to build a sentence by applying S+V+O. Furthermore, they may also have a good vocabulary range, and unfortunately, they are failing to speak with someone. This is a game where we must always fight physically and orally. As you have been given the best example, can we ride the foot bicycle without pedalling it? So, we must engage in the game of presenting and consisting. Love from Sri Lanka.

Hi, you are such a great motivational English teacher that was you when I started speaking to myself of course but I have gained significant improvement for which I am glad to you. I was thinking that after a lot of immersion in English I will be able to speak but when I came across your speaking videos I realized I have to start it along with immersion practice I am glad that I have got it and you also mentioned once that in your one of video that it is a lifetime practice I like that very much because it is 100%true I did want to believe on that in the beginning perhaps I could have lost my interest after acknowledging that it would take much time but now it is pretty easy for me. I improved 50 to 60 percent mam by using talknew app frequently. But still some situations I am struggling to expose. I am working on that as well to overcome. Also I learnt new words and using that words while speaking. But still I feel not enough because sometimes while speaking I take long break and say ah ahhh like that and then continue.
Anyway mam I am just fighting with English language and I never give up until I become fluent.

Sometimes to check my fluency I used to visit any mobile shop and ask about mobile headset price and benefits like that.
Many people told me that I am speaking good English but I too felt that I improved but this is not enough. Still long way to go to achieve fluent level mam
