Dough
6 cups Maseca Flour
4 cups Water (+ more ) add slowly until play dough consistency
1 to 1.5 tsp salt
Fillings
You choice
1lb cabbage
1/2 red onion thinly sliced
2 m carrots shredded
1 jalapeño thinly sliced
2 tsp oregano
2 tsp salt
2/3 cup white vinegar
2 cups water (bring to a boil)

May have to give your recipe a try, I've never had a pupusa before.
It’s coor tee tho. I used to use plastic wrap between 2 little plates with flat bottoms. I then used plastic zip lock bag on margarine lid. I have been making them for years. I finally was able to slap them out. It takes a lot of practice!

Oh my stars. I’m doing this on Saturday. Are used to have a amazing restaurant near my house that made these. Sadly they close down. And I haven’t had a decent one in years. Thank you so much for sharing this recipe I’m very excited

You want to use PAN instead of Maseca. You will have a better product
