    I was ecstatic when I saw that HARPAD 12-string converter. I wanted one right then and there, but then I heard how expensive it was. almost $400 for that? I’ll just buy an actual 12-string guitar for that price... might be useful if you want to transform your J-45 into a 12-string or something but for lower-budget players such as myself, that’s not worth it. I mean, why even is it so expensive? It’s a big piece of plastic with strings on it, why would it cost that much?

    the chordinero is cool. the only major difference between that and alt tuning is that standard finger patterns still apply --- the weird alternate intervals between strings is only true at the open (capo'd) string

    On the GuitarJo subject...I have heard Guitar George is George Young, Angus and Malcolms big brother. When I was young for some reason I thought it was reference to Beatles Harrison I didn't get...because his guitar weeps,so gently.

    I'd say the guitar jo makes the guitar sound more like a sitar.

    The Guitar-Jo sounded more like a muffled sitar.
    Makes me wonder if it's possible to machine saddles that can be switched into sitar mode individually.

    I had one of those Submarine pick-ups, had all those issues you mentioned, just wouldn't stick and had a very low output from an acoustic. Real shame.

  • @OMMIAMSalvation

    Ooh, maybe add a super short delay to go with the lower octave when using the Submarine pickup to make it sound more like someone's doubling on bass. That could be really cool

    But wouldn’t the 12 string thing have different thickness for each string would it be weird with all kind of messed up strings

    • @DariusAmir_
      @DariusAmir_ 3 роки тому +1

      sometimes 12 strings just double the strings to make the sound a bit thicker, kinda like a chorus

    • @theabsolute23
      @theabsolute23 3 роки тому +5

      The high string in the courses of a 12 string are an octave higher than standard tuning, so they’re all gonna be super light strings relatively similar if not the same in gauge.
