I will say, I respect this side of Taylor Swift. When she feels wronged she throws it out there in her music. I'm not a Swiftie, but I can appreciate that in her.
Check out “Ready for It?”, “I Did Something Bad”, and “Don’t Blame Me” if you like this one! “Vigilante Shit” would be another good song for you that’s along these lines!
Vigilante Shit for SURE (all of them!). Everything on Rep, too. Absolutely love that she was able to do 1989, Reputation, Folklore, all fantastic, all very different.
And to the Streaming sites for paying their artists next to nothing. That's who's vault she's robbing in the video. She boycotted her music on iTunes for a while to raise awareness to her fellow artists that they aren't being paid their worth. She can fight using her music.
5:45 She actually started dancing properly in videos/tours starting with this album, and iirc this very MV, because it was essentially a clapback to everyone who'd said she couldn't dance.
Honestly. I am no Swiftie but, I like some of her stuff and enjoy her humor. I really get tired of people always downing this lady. She is an artist. She songwriter. She sings and plays instruments. She is said to be a very nice person and helps many in need for no reason. She is a good person. So why from entertainment media to fellow musicians to the public does this lady always get dumped on.
FUN FACT- she used to be made fun of for her “bad” dancing when she was younger so she took the hate seriously and made herself learn how to dance and become great at it! Just because of the haters 😢🎉❤
Not a Swifty, but I had heard there were comments about her not being able to dance, and that she set out to prove them wrong. Swifty, or not, gotta respect that.
Taylor was one who is going to make sure people cannot laugh at her again and to improve herself. But, what many don't understand is she was never a dancer. She is a songwriter and musician. She never had lessons. But, today it is almost required of female artists even if they are not dancers.
If all you've ever heard from Taylor are her radio hits, you're missing out for sure. She has such a diverse catalog of music that most people have never been exposed to. Definitely recommend the rest of this album ('Reputation'). I wasn't a Swiftie until she dropped 'Midnights' last year and I thought to myself, "maybe I should give her a chance," and after hearing that album, I dug into her back catalog and I'm absolutely smitten. Nowadays I can't get through the day without a bunch of her hooks running through my head. She really is remarkable.
I say this all the time to people who only judge Taylor based on what was played on the radio, I say go check out all her songs and get a taste of who Taylor really is. Odds are the ones that weren't played on the radio become some of your favorites, I know for me listening to each album, I can pick out some of the underrated songs and they happen to be my favorite, but I love all the songs, I think the way she writes is brillant. the way she puts things together is so impressive.
This was part of her album "Reputation." The album is more industrial/hiphop/pop/EDM type of music. Check her song "Ready for it." It is also part of this album, she is even rapping in that one
If you like this style of Taylor i highly recommend you checking out more from this era. This was the first single launching her reputation era which was a huge success despite her taking on more edgier lyrics and production. As someone mentioned this song was a respone to some drama between her and Kimye. More stuff to check out from this era would be the song and music video for End Game which features Ed Sheeran and Future. And I highly recommend checking out the live performances of Ready for It and I did something bad from her reputation tour. Great reaction from you as always!
The support that made stiletto heels able to hold a person is steel - and it can hold a full grown man!!! beyond that stack-heels are wider and do not need the steel core. also modern heels are made of stronger materials
You should listen to her song “Don’t Blame Me”. It really changed my mind on Taylor Swift - in fact the whole reputation album changed my mind. Lots of trap production and Future 😅
After the Kanye west thing she got so much hate for everyone and this reputation album was her comeback and people still hated her so it never got the respect it deserved! I can’t wait for the re-record it’s going to finally get the love it should have anyway! ❤
Remember Kanye’s concert with the tilted stage? During the whole drama over “Famous” phone call, Kim also called her fake, a liar and a snake. There’s a whole context to this song, the entire Reputation album.
Reputation was her closer to hip hop album, but honestly, trying to pin down her style is not easy. Some of her earlier music was definitely country. And she is the pop goddess. But she can basically do what she wants to at this point and it's so much fun! I think you'd really enjoy Vigilante Shit from her latest LP, Midnights. The live performance is FIRE!!!!
I mean the fact that she comes right out and says it with the tilted stage about Kanye she does not shy away and I love that Try the song ready for it I think you’ll really like that There will be no explanation just reputation !!
I think you'd like the live version from the Reputation Tour Concert. she's got snakes (not real ones). In all honesty, I was never crazy about her oldest stuff, but she became a better singer. Now I understand she doesn't claim to be a good singer. She's a songwriter, a storyteller. Plus, her voice has gotten better, and I realize now she just has her own style.
Don't know about the "heels" stuff - but I'd recommend the english move, "Kinky Boots", which has a plot line around a failing shoe maker who branches out into making shoes for drag artists, it's actually really good!
Her videos are killer. I personally like a couple of her older videos: Shake It Up ( her reaction to her dancing and bullying) and You Belong to Me. Also the video for Blank Space is awesome.
I too have just got on the Tay Tay Train after hearing some of her more recent stuff, she's matured and all the crap she's been through with K& K and having to re record her album has made her grow into a strong woman. I love how Taylor uses all the crap people and media say about her to make fun of herself or use it in her video and cash in on it. She a smart cookie, so people keep giving her amo/material to write about or dont ?!?!?!
I loved this reaction!! Are You Ready For It?, I Did Something Bad and Don’t Blame Me LIVE from the reputation tour would be great for you to react to. Such a great tour!
Imo her Reputation album is one of the best albums she has made (even tho I throughly enjoy all of them). The Reputation Tour is iconic as well, I wasn’t a Swiftie at the time and damnit I regret as now I wish I got to see it in person and highly recommend checking it out! Currently waiting on Taylor’s Version of the album and omg I cannot wait! Btw if you don’t know she’s rerecording all her albums that are still property of her old label that refused to give her the rights to them as well as added a few extra songs that didn’t make the original cut so if you see anything that says TV at the end it means that’s her song that she owes and not the label.
I'm not far off in finding this version of her... Kelce started this journey for me 😂. I obv knew Taylor's hits., but recently have delved deeper and haven't been disappointed. Have fun!
Haha, this is her Reputation era. If you like this, then you may like more from that era. That era was around 2017-18. Ready for it live Reputation stadium Tour with intro. I did something bad live AMAs 2018. Dont Blame Me live Reputation Stadium Tour. Endgame ft Future music video. It’s older about 9 years ago, she was around 24-25, but I Knew you were trouble live 1989 World Tour is fire. 🔥
1. I love your reaction. It was so much fun. 2. Your question about men wearing heels that could support their musculature, made the song “The Sex is in the Heel” pop in my head from Kinky Boots.
I love your energy!!! Just subbed. Apologies for my fellow swifties, sometimes they dont know how to act, but its just because they have so much love for Taylor and her music. Reputation is a great record. It's like EDM/pop/hip hop fusion...if that makes sense...
Ok, let’s go my man! You want edgy Taylor, I gotchu! From her live “Reputation Stadium Tour” “Intro + Are you ready for it” “I did something bad” and the song you just did but the live version from the same tour. All 3 of them are here on YT. If you don’t want to do all 3, hopefully you can at least do the “Intro + Are you ready for it” it’s only like an eight minute video, please if you have time! You will not be disappointed! I mean she walked in that piece like that 🔥 it’s straight fire 🔥 Thank you for sharing your opinions and being open minded when it comes to TS. We appreciate you my guy Keep shining✨
Oh yeah. U def need to watch something that explains what everything means in this video. She pretty much wrote this with this video in mind. Oh. This video was meticulously thought out. It has hidden Easter eggs all throughout. It’s basically a clap back to Kanye West and Kim K …. With the car crash scene being about Katy Perry. U really gotta understand those needs to appreciate it. Also, this was her first single after she disappeared for a year. She begins in the dress she wore in her last video (before she disappeared) and is seen being buried in the dress she wore at her last public event (MET GALA)
Reputation Stadium Tour. You have got to watch it! You'll really love it. Btw, this one is referring to the whole fiasco that Kanye and Kim K. started.
It’s cute how he thinks the heal size is what supports the body weigh 🥰. Heels suck, no matter what anyone says, and you only “get used to” the pain. It’s an acquired skill that I also have not mastered 🤣
This was a smack down of Kanye and Kim for what they did to her. But, for the male dancers having to act like girls and wear women's high heels - they were probably special made just for them to hold. and dance in. This was loads of fun and the humor was great.
I'll bet the part you said 'go ahead Ms. Travis Kelce - he would find her really sexy in that outfit. But, I suspect the same could be said if she was wearing a potato sack. I am glad in this video she stood up and hit back at those who tried to destroy her 7 or 8 years ago. good for Taylor
You should watch the delicate music video if you wanna see more of her dancing, she does like a weird mix of modern/ballet dancing but she also makes it dorky and funny because she is dorky and funny
You seem to really appreciate the music videos themselves, so fyi, she almost always has a 10 minute behind the scenes video up on her channel for her videos. They’re generally really technically interesting, and you get a small glimpse of who Taylor is as a person… which might make some of her stans make more sense. 😉
Taylor has always had amazing videos, I was a SWIFTY before I even knew about BTS and became ARMY. You should check out her Reputation Tour, There are so many great live performances of her songs. She is an amazing performer.
She said in the making of, that everyone should look like a corpse at least once in their life, because it is an experience to have. All your physical insecurities are gone... ua-cam.com/video/BKCmxyohzww/v-deo.html
I am also new to Taylor and truly believe you would enjoy the video from her Reputation tour, Intro + Ready for it! Check it out! (regardless of reacting, although I would love to see your face when first hearing it young man!) It's fire!
The video was a lot of references you had to know, I didn’t know half. But they often reference people she was coming for, scenes from their videos and such
Would love for you to check out her reputation tour, ready for it, don't blame me, king of my heart. She puts on an incredible show. Her videos are all top notch and high quality and so creative. Her lyrics are what she's most known for ( especially her bridges). Loved your reaction!
I never heard Taylor Swift until 2 weeks ago I was watching the awards where kanye got up there and showed his ass. Then proceeded to watch her vids and learn the behind the scenes meanings. Reputation and Blank Space are my favs. BTW regarding high heels: there's a magic spell all high heel wearer's know. It really works. ❤
Just found your channel through this video. Subscribed!!! If you want more like this check out End Game (ft Future) and Ready For It? Both of them (along with LWYMMD) are from her Reputation album which is one of her best, it’s edgy and had a lot of r&b/hip hop influence. Definitely recommend reacting to anything off that album!
🚨Taylor Swift : Ready For It Reaction- ua-cam.com/video/H0DiIZ2hRPk/v-deo.htmlsi=stMgtNyrHVVuXM15
I will say, I respect this side of Taylor Swift. When she feels wronged she throws it out there in her music. I'm not a Swiftie, but I can appreciate that in her.
as a swiftie i love this comment - definitley one of the best comments ive seen from a non swiftie
Respect
She’s got so many edgy songs. She’s really sexy in Vigilante live Eras Tour
ua-cam.com/video/82cUuYFeiU4/v-deo.htmlsi=gqtpjC3iKiwHzlg-
Check out “Ready for It?”, “I Did Something Bad”, and “Don’t Blame Me” if you like this one! “Vigilante Shit” would be another good song for you that’s along these lines!
Yes to all of these!!
vigilante sht is ehhh pretty basic
The live versions
I second all of these. You ain’t seen edgy yet my friend 😋
Vigilante Shit for SURE (all of them!). Everything on Rep, too. Absolutely love that she was able to do 1989, Reputation, Folklore, all fantastic, all very different.
This was a lil love letter to Kanye and Kim lol

yes i agree he will love rep era.

This is probably the best comeback video I've ever seen. She's not on my playlist, but I recognize she's an amazing artist and know she's a rarity.❤

Someone else suggested Ready For It and I Did Something Bad Reputation tour, Vigilante Shit, and I will add on the MV for End Game 🔥🔥🔥
With the reputation album, the bill came due. She went full payback
Taylors music writing is amazing. There's always a story. Super talented. She writes under a pseudonym for other singers.
Ready for it, I did something bad, and don't blame me...
End game. You'll like this.
Brooo he’s gonna love “ready for it” live😭😭
I mean the fact that she comes right out and says it with the tilted stage about Kanye she does not shy away and I love that

Dancing in heels has nothing to do with the heel, it's all in the toes and leg strength 😊
Don't know about the "heels" stuff - but I'd recommend the english move, "Kinky Boots", which has a plot line around a failing shoe maker who branches out into making shoes for drag artists, it's actually really good!
I've heard of that. Sounds really fun to see.
*THE ICONIC COMEBACK EVER*
also the most expensive music video ever made ❤
Ready for It Live. This album is actually my favorite of hers because it's darker.
I Did Something Bad live is really good.
Her videos are killer. I personally like a couple of her older videos: Shake It Up ( her reaction to her dancing and bullying) and You Belong to Me. Also the video for Blank Space is awesome.
This is her throwing shade at all the haters, it all means something! ❤
If you are looking for other stuff like this from her, check out the live performance of "ready for it" from the reputation tour!
LOVED this! if you want another music video from this era, do End Game - Taylor ft Future & Ed Sheeran. Or Ready For it + Intro from Rep Tour!
Swiftie here. Omg I love you! You are so funny, and I love your reactions. I love watching you discover new sides to Taylor.
I too have just got on the Tay Tay Train after hearing some of her more recent stuff, she's matured and all the crap she's been through with K& K and having to re record her album has made her grow into a strong woman. Mannn this shit broke the internet like Formation when it dropped FACTS
Taylor doesn’t take herself too seriously, great sense of humor. You must see The Man.
Imo her Reputation album is one of the best albums she has made (even tho I throughly enjoy all of them). Her reputation album is solid
Now, this reaction was genuine. My recent journey with "rediscovering" Taylor as well.

4 songs from Taylor that I think are good and similar to this vibe are ready for it, did something bad, vigilante sh** and bad blood
I love your energy!!! Just subbed. Apologies for my fellow swifties, sometimes they dont know how to act, but its just because they have so much love for Taylor and her music. Reputation is a great record. It's like EDM/pop/hip hop fusion...if that makes sense...

When she CARRIES THE BIG MACHINES oh she gagged them 😭😭😭😭 not the casual shots fired at her record label
This era of Taylor was my favorite
You should watch the delicate music video if you wanna see more of her dancing, she does like a weird mix of modern/ballet dancing but she also makes it dorky and funny because she is dorky and funny

I'm sure the dancers had to practice, lol I love your reactions......-SDK
"Kinky Boots, the Musical" will tell you about the heels...
The “Easter Eggs” in her videos are insane. You can find videos on YT that tells you all of the hidden messages and meanings of her videos/songs.

You can think Kanye and Kim for this magical piece. Don't cross that girl ever.
