My favorite part of this song is when she raps “and you can be my jailer, Burton to this Taylor”… she’s talking about Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton’s relationship. CLEVER as hell, some people don’t catch that.
I feel like she sounds like Taylor Swift rapping. Some people try to embody a whole different persona and she’s still giving Taylor. Which is why I think it’s so likeable

People seem to forget that everyone grows up and matures. Taylor hasn’t been doing teenager type music for nearly a decade. Her
most recent album, Midnights, is synth pop with lots of beats. There are some fun songs but she’s in her 30’s now and it’s an adult piece of work.
If you look you'll find tha her music has kept pace with her age, it has matured. ALL of what you see is her. Writing, directing, concept....

My favorite from her so far is still Blank Space. Not edgy, but not boppy either - more adult and very self-aware. I'm sure you've heard Bad Blood, but the video is fun and I think you'll like it. Yeah, well...the 16 year old music was from a 16 year old....she' 's 34 now....and she's been treated really badly by alot of nasty boys/men, along with a lot of mean people trying to pull her down....and her music has evolved ....her songs covers a lot of tastes today...she has a huge fan base of all ages....in her concerts in the audience you seen mothers and grandmaother with their kids...and even fathers with their daughters enjoying... none of her videos are cheap....they're very creative and involved.
