Nice new intro animation :)
Thanks. I'm glad you like it. I'd love to say it was me that did it, but I used Fiverr.
Definitely agree, that blue is the colour to go for.
Really like this. Titanium, yes.
I think if they adapted the design a little they'd be on a winner, and a little more away from an homage. Remove that HE valve to clean up the lines across the top of the case and balance it up, and we don't need it anyway. That'd be a great place to work from for future designs.
Yeah that would be good.
Very good mate, the blue AR works well with the blue dial. Looks well made and great spec as usual. Word of caution with the warranty. It was a lot of effort to sort a return with the one i bought from where you got yours. I bought two sea shepherds from them and one had a bezel so stiff, I slipped when trying to turn it and cut my finger! They didn't believe it was too stiff so I just copied them my link to the review! Couldn't deny it then. Sorry for long message, but over all my heimdallrs have all been great!
Sorry to hear that mate. I've bought a couple of watches from them before and the customer service was good when I had an issue.
Here's the link to video of you want to know more about it.

@@HonestWatchReviewsHWR thanks mate
I really like how you go for the “other” colour way, rather than the one EVERYONE else is reviewing. That blue looks great and gives the watch a very different look. That crystal too, it looks great. I have a Phylida NTTD style/colour coming from the anniversary sale. I like the Heimdallr mesh too, the clasp looks nice look forward to the full review.
You know me, always looking to do something a bit different. That's why I've had a first on my channel. Escapement Time, Phylida and Boderry.
heimdallr is light years ahead of seiko. this design is better than the pagani and its crappy lume. $219 is a steal for a titanium watch!!! GO HEIMDALLR!!!!
It's an absolute bargain for a titanium watch.
I have this watch and 2 other titanium watches in my collection ( inc. a Lorus).
I don't expect the titanium on this to wear as well as it will on my Oceanus as that titanium has been treated & coated more ( doesn’t stop my enjoyment) .
love how it comes with a spring bar tool and extra nato strap
Looks pretty sweet. I like the color matched date, too.
Yeah, I'm really impressed so far.
Thanks for the video. I picked up the white dial on mesh bracelet and was blown away by the build quality. I have 6 Heimdallr watches and this one is King. Really like that blue one and seriously thinking of adding it to the list. I do have their red and blue Monster, so it's likely going to happen. Cheers!
I have a few Heimdallrs now myself. They do make quality watches for a great price.
I am really impressed with this
That makes two of us then 😉
Not for me, but clearly a very well made watch and it gives me a good feeling about Heimdallr. I've bought Phylida and Escapement Time on your recommendation so thanks for another. Would love to see a state of the collection video, you must have lots of awesome watches by now.
I hope you're happy with Phylida and Escapement Time.
I will get around to doing the SOTC at some point. I just need to sell some watches first. As I've got way to many and the video would be ridiculously long.
This looks impressive!
I know right.
Looks great, that blue and white is a really nice colour option.
Yeah they are. I don't think you go wrong with any of them to be honest.
Scatched allready 3:40 , nice looking watch but in the nttd version from Phylida you can have the pt5000 for almost the same price and it comes with a nice bracelet too.
It doesn't actually look anywhere near that bad. With the naked eye you can't really see it at all. The Phylida is really good. That's why I plan to do a comparison video soon.
Great video.... beautiful blue dial and stunning OBLIQUE milanese mesh bracelet. It should be noted that the sound that emenates from the bezel is completely different to the sound of other stainless steel watches because the reverberations are bouncing off titanium and not stainless steel. This makes a difference. However, its its the best balance between valueand quality for a titanium watch. Very impressive. Thanks for the video.
I'm glad you liked it. Thanks for watching.
I’ve been eyeing the white version of this. The case is bang on I think. The thickness of the Phylida throws it off a little for me. The quality of this is really something.
Well I'll be doing the comparison to the Phylida, once I've tested this thoroughly.
That looks great, the only thing spoiling it for me is the near 50mm lug to lug
Looks good.
I think so too.
Looking good James. Nice watch.i picked up a nice Milanese strap from strapify 'Australia "the end of the strap is magnified and sits really nice when on wrist.
Congrats on winning phyleda of Dan's.chanel.
Very nice. Thanks mate.
Great to watch before bed. 😞
Yeah sorry about the weird upload time.
Any suggestions for a fitted rubber strap for this one? I have one inbound.
Nice choice!
Prefer this over the others Sea Ghost colors.
1- because I really like the Tudor bluebay58 and this type of blue with aluminum insert scratches the itch more than the San Martin bluebay homage or even Pagani's snowflake dial one.
2- because the blue AR coating enhances the blue color scheme, not clashes with it.
3- because I already have the Phylida NTTD and love it.
I completely agree with everything you said.
@@HonestWatchReviewsHWR
Just imagine if they introduce a burgundy variant or other colour variants (Orange/Yellow).
I bet a Orange bezel & Yellow Dial would really make it stand out.
That would be interesting.
-4: blue version should have better lume than the NTTD one....because it's without the fauxtina.
@@commentjedi The full review is coming up next. Next couple of days.
Nice
Thanks.
Two years warranty on a homage watch? That's pretty darn good, compared to some way more expensive watches. Really looking forward to the comparison to the Phylida. Now I realise that this titanium watch would maybe be a good gift to my snotty little brother's 50th birthday next february (nickel allergic and has a big wrist), too bad that mesh band isn't titanium though (has there ever been one?). well, there are other titanium contenders as well.
Yeah its crazy the value you get. If you did get one, I'm sure he'd love it.
As for a titanium mesh I'm sure someone has probably done one, but I don't know of it.
I'm on the hunt for a blue watch. I thought the Pagani BB would be it but I'm having doubts now. if it's not, this will be it I think. love the blue colorway on this one.
Same, just bought Pagani BB Navy last week on sale, hope its worth it
This is shaping up to be something a bit special I think.
Very nice and I’m going to be featuring the same colour variant on my UA-cam channel in the coming days 😊👀
Have you got it already then?
@@HonestWatchReviewsHWR I do mate. Really like it tbh although the bezel is quite different given that it is titanium. Will be uploading on Saturday as I have something else to upload on Wednesday and they are my 2 upload days. Good video 👍🏻
That decent looking watch. Titanium is harder to finish than stainless steel and tha case finishing certainly looked OK. Nice level of detail with the colour matched date complication at 6. The mesh strap seems to be awesome. Does it wear comfortably with that little bit of bulk underneath?
Yeah it's wearing really nicely so far.
Have mine about 6 weeks, love the watch, hate the bezel action... I know it's titanium but mine is so rigid.
Do you keep turning it regularly to try and break it in, so to speak?
@@HonestWatchReviewsHWR yes... And it does eventually become more free to turn but if I leave it for a few days it goes back to its original rigid state... There are a few people with the same experience... I think it's because titanium is not malleable.
@@Paul.in.Ireland I'll have to keep an eye on that and see how I get on. Thanks for the heads up.
I am a sucker for the AR coating
It does work really well with this blue dial
I have the black version for some weeks now, this blue AR coating is a bit odd. This is almost the only criticism that i have on this watch (with the lume).Got it for less than 160€ it is a killer.
I can't see these shark logo in every second Chinese watch brand..
What's the middle watch in the watch case in the background?
It's this one:
ua-cam.com/video/flJ7Av0gEe0/v-deo.html
I still haven't gotten around to doing the full review yet. I really need too. Just other things keep coming up.
@@HonestWatchReviewsHWR Ah thanks very much, yes you should do the full review! :)
Is the lume any good on that watch?
I haven't tested it yet. I'll do that for the review though, don't worry.
Whers the wrist shot
I'll do that and all the dimensions, like shot and sapphire test in the full review.
Nice watch. Like the blue and titanium. Omega’s design choices is why I wouldn’t buy one though
You certainly get a lot of watch for your money. Which design elements is it you don't like out of interest?
@@HonestWatchReviewsHWR scalloped bezel and HEV nipple
Fair enough. I'm not the biggest of the helium escape valve either.
some call it Homage, others call it counterfeit.
Counterfeit would have Omega branding on it.
I think Omega messed up with that strap design. Horrible bulk under the wrist. Such a shame really because is quite a nicely designed watch.
It actually wears really nicely though. Plus if you don't like it, you can always get it on the Nato strap, and it comes with a free rubber one as well, which I haven't tried yet.
@@HonestWatchReviewsHWR thanks, so it's not 5oo bulky underneath?
No it's not.
Bought it - it cross threaded and is now useless after 1 month. I took extra care because I was aware of the problem…
Also bezel insert is not lined up and edges are extremly sharp… it’s almost like a knife.
It’s actually normally weighted and not super light. The lume is absolute garbage.
The print on the dial is also quite dark. The bezel action looses up after some time and is actually quite nice. I was looking forward to the Milanese strap but it’s quite uncomfortable. In hindsight I would have preferred a matching oyster bracelet. It looks awesome but the quality is really shit.
I'm sorry to hear that you've had issues with yours.
Thanks for your empathy.
@@christophchristoph9909 Did you try contacting the seller at all?
That Logo has got to go.
I actually quite like it.
Maybe write a script for xhat you want to say, and stick to it? Might stop the very distracting stumbling about and humming and hawing.
I didn't realise there was any in there. I thought I'd edited that out. This is just a quick unboxing and first impressions video though.
Fake Omega? No thanks. I would better buy Seiko or Citizen diver with their own original design.
People how knows at least something about watch will be ashamed to wear it.
It's not a fake. A fake would say Omega on the dial. This is an homage. That's why it says Heimdallr. Also you won't get a Seiko or Citizen that has this level of finishing and is titanium for anywhere near this price.
@jakingup
😆😆😆
Oh wait... you're serious? Let me laugh even harder!
😆😆😆😂😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
@@HonestWatchReviewsHWR copy all original design and call it another name, it's just another way to steal from someone spend money and time to create it.
Let any USA company do it. Omega will suit crap of them.
@@IaMaPh1991 I bet you shy to say word penis. No worries, one day you grew up.
It varies depending on who you ask. For me personally I class it as an homage, as it's not trying to pass itself off as the original. It has different branding/sterile.
Also they are aimed at completely different markets. People who buy homages aren't likely to buy the real thing. As they can't/won't pay that kind of money for a watch. So they just want something with a similar look, but at a more reasonable price point.
Homages are bought by people who love the originals and the brands who make them... Where as fakes are bought by people who want to try and make out that they are something they aren't. They don't care about the originals or the brands that make them at all. It's a status symbol to them nothing more.
