#23 Dave Standing travels in a small trailer boat out into the rugged wild ocean off the remote southwest coast of Victoria Australia. The goal, to find red bait baitballs then hook, fight and land large southern bluefin tuna. This time the angler is a novice, his girl Madeline. What happens next is hectic and bittersweet. My opinion might not be the most popular these days, but I felt bad seeing the fish go through such a hard fight just for jollies.
Whatever it takes, within reason, to provide for the family, but kinda expensive and rough on the fish just for fun.
Maybe something you can beat in quick fight for fun.

What kind of boat are you using? My group is looking for a small-ish secondhand boat, around 23-25 feet center console for offshore trolling, jigging, etc, with enough space for a dozen rods, livewell, cooler, the good stuff. Oh and a toilet if possible.

Pretty much just wondering what breaking strain of rope to use, what strength/length of leader to use and which knot would be good to combine mono leader to rope
Don’t know of anyone doing that in our region. Sounds fun though
@@mudcodpoacher6265 pretty easy just use like 300 lb, you cannot lift 300 lb with a rope unless you are very strong and a big swivel.
