Sports illustrated for kids age here. Had a set of BR for my 06’ speed 6 because they were the only ones that made suspension for the car when it first came out. I prefer the Japanese mainstays when it comes to suspension now have a set of hks hyper max s for my wrx and it’s night n day difference

I ran BC BR Coilovers on my Evo 7 for around 6 years. They were absolutely lethal when I installed them. But after getting the suspension professionally setup they were amazing. They won't compare to things like KW or Ohlins, but for the money I found them excellent.
Well yeah because the people actually use the coil overs they are sponsored by so people have an idea what they’re like during use. When I was working at a store a good number of people didn’t wanna buy stuff unless they saw you using the product or they got to sample it.

Now in 2022 people see them as junk when they a great parts for the money. Overall paying for Add space with Adam LZ doesn't = The best of the best. You have to take everything like that with a green of salt. Also Coilovers for the street really isn't needed unless you want A+ fitment for the street
BC Racing is known for cheap coilovers. Probably fine for cruising and parking lots, but you get what you pay for. If you want quality coilovers, go with KW, ST or Ohlins. This is a product placement, nothing more.
Depends on the vehicle probably, but at least for the evo x their entry level BR do not handle the streets well, they are very bouncy, regardless of dampening setting. I get people don’t want to spend a ton of money (especially as everything grows in price), but you gotta pay more for better stuff. On smooth tracks, they do great!
I believe it all has to do with the proper setting after having mine installed went back a week and half for the settling to be complete, to my installer I didn’t like how soft the rear felt to the compared to the front after the adjustments it was smooth and what I expected, height, dampening and camber all on point. I think when installing coil overs there’s a LOT of patients that are needed. I do plan on getting another set for my new build. And don’t forget the alignment, I think some people miss this step and think they can just install coil overs lowering spring and they’re good to go. Good luck

I have BC BR series coils on my 99 Accord. I’ve had them on for nearly a year, and I absolutely love them. I lowered my car maybe 3ish inches (gained -1° in the front, -2° in the rear) so far and haven’t looked back. I hardly have any body roll now, and with adjustable damping, I still have a super smooth and comfortable ride. If anyone’s out there wondering about them for daily driving, I highly recommend them
@@therestingmitchface6241 most would say go that route, but getting the wheel & tire pkg first allowed me to dial the suspension according to my actual setup for example I’m running 20’s so I knew exactly which coil overs I need based on 20’s Fitment & tire height & wheel width. At least it worked out better for me. Good luck
I have BC coilovers in my '88 Mazda RX-7 for about 6 years now still work great Love them take a little bit to get used to for the setup but other than that they work great for the price

They are just ok. If you have the money get Fortune Auto, KW or Ohlins. They are cool for the price, but not if you want a good coil over that can absorb bumps and do most things well.

I'm running bc coilovers br series on my mk7 golf. Great bit of kit. Only issue I have is a slight knocking from the top mounts but nothing wrong apart from that

I’ve had BC’s in my Si for about a year, so far honestly they’ve been a nightmare. I replaced my control arms, sway bar links, sway bar bushings, and ball joints, only to find out it’s my brand new $1,000 coil overs that are making tons of noise over bumps. Wish I didn’t buy them

Currently my summer car is my daily until i pick up my cars, a lot of it really consists of a deep clean to make sure things do not corrode and rust, and just WAITING for the rain to hit us so it can wash the salt away haha, most people either store the winter car or daily it on rainy days too. -Edgar

That’s an installation error. Make sure the preload is set correctly and double check to make sure all the bolts are tight

In the price range you have 2 options HSD or BC. That's a no brainer cause HSD's suck and they have the worst customer service ever.
BC and KW are the major ones I can think of off the top. And Eibach springs.
