    You could spend all of Eternium searching for Unobtainium only to end up with Vibranium :) Would be good to see The Rock finally work with some great directors & scripts and actually challenge himself, wish he'd be more like Bautista & Cena in partnering up with great directors and letting them take the lead in those projects! With him furiously hyping up a Black Adam vs Superman movie and seemingly skipping Shazam, it feels like they're already rushing to it like they did with BvS with not enough good storytelling done beforehand to make you truly care and for it to really matter. I fear that movie will essentially be the 3rd Act of Man of Steel but this time for most of the entire movie with insane amounts of CGI destruction with Black Adam (cos it'll be The Rock's movie on which he'll be a Producer) not losing!

      Yeah he really just wants to play himself and look awesome. Which isn't terrible, but can't be an entire movie. If this was a JSA film it would have been pretty solid imo

      @@derekskelton4187 Every performer no matter how much money they've made wants a string of critically acclaimed movies/shows that are career-defining, I just don't understand why The Rock doesn't get this given the mediocre ratings of the vast majority of his movies when you look up his filmography on RT & Metacritic! Seems to be too much of a control freak to work with directors of a higher calibre as he always wants to be publicly seen as THE creative force behind his projects which is the wrong attitude/mentality to have and at 50yrs old, I can't see him changing :(

      @@AllInTheGame01 You're talking about the Rock here. One or two notches above Vin Diesel in acting aptitude. It's a mixture of goofy ego (not unlike Diesel) and knowing their talent limits (not unlike Diesel). No one will ever mistake them for acting acumen or natural humor like Bautista or Cena.

      @@CloseYourBrownEyes Vin Diesel in the early part of his career in movies like Saving Private Ryan and Find Me Guilty was actually well regarded as a young actor before he found fame & fortune with those terrible F&F, Riddick and XXX movies!

    Interesting listen. It makes me wonder whether you think the current era of frachise movies has changed your relationship with characters on screen? Do you think you need more time with them these days to develop an emotional connection, where in the past a single movie would have been enough. Or is it just about expectations of for superhero movies compared to what marvel did or this just being done badly?

    This would have worked better as a Shazam movie with Black Adam as a villain who also faces up with Superman JSA should not have been there and should have been a separate movie

    Yep I got Doctor strange from that too it even references through the movie scenes like I said before the whole movie basically references other different movies everywhere.

    Yeah he woke up from being knocked out from being injured and he had a bad dream and he shot lightning from his hand as he woke up and hit the Superman pit poster that was in front of him on the wall that from the bed he was laying in.

    And the movie also throughout the whole movie of references from a bunch of different movies like the X-Men just for one it's easily seen all of them are easily seen.

    In the city kwondo I hope my machine saying that right is actually brought up and played out as if it was an anaconda the origin place of black panther if my machine ain't saying that right sorry I'm illiterate so that's a reliance to text to speak app what about at the very end see the credits rolling and then the picture shows up and who shows up Superman

  • @ljsmooth69
    @ljsmooth69 Рік тому

    No it's not falcon it's hawk from the X-Men and if you know anything about the origin stories him and rogue were in a comic book called Atlantis. And the Ant-Man guy he references that's like the Ant-Man is Adam he's supposed to be he has control and being able to manipulate the Adam itself you know down to the molecular level and all he does is grow big complete waste of potential.

  • @ljsmooth69
    @ljsmooth69 Рік тому

    I didn't think the dynamic of Adam the atom you know character was played out and thought well or any such thing all he did was grow big in the movie and that's it so much potential wasted you might as well made him the Ant-Man he didn't even shrink.

  • @ljsmooth69
    @ljsmooth69 Рік тому

    When I went to go see the movie I thought I was going to go see a movie about black Adams the chemistry Quan physics nerd guy that had an accident and then became the Adam and that guy originally was black so I you know his name is Black Adam you can call them Adam but we weren't we went and saw a movie with an origin story or something weird that a character played the powers to be of Shazam and they're the Adam was with all this credible capabilities and all he did was grow big and nothing else the Ant-Man had more capability than that by shrinking literally go through walls committed and literally manipulate the the molecules you know at an atom is a molecule . But there's no powers of the atom whatsoever all I did was grow big again like that brewery restaurant looking got off the X-Men what was his special power he grew big and that was it. So that's what I thought I was going to see was the movie about the Adam being his name actually being Adam in the old cartoons to him referring himself as I'm Black Adam cuz the character Not only was black but his name was Adam and he control he obtained the powers to control the molecules but no. Other than the action scenes being put together somewhat well in the CGI being up to date other than that the movie was a complete thumbs to thumbs down for me too many other things in it that are all messed up all the way throughout the movie not to mention that they put in there and you can literally hear it say if you're paying attention something about not having or not accepting no whites right before they show Pierce brosnan. And then come to the very end credits roll then they have the little clip tour Superman shows up where Shazam is which is Black Adam in the movie . And literally the words to put Adam back to rest Black Adam back to rest he has to say you got to trick him into saying it in the words are Shazam well it wasn't as bad as the first the new Batman movie at least.

    I don't think it'll be a cool match up between the Black Adams character in Superman the little one in the same if you think about it just like Shazam He-Man no one the same but if they fight Shazam are Black Adam excuse me is the metal that's made out of that crown that that crown is made out of the only thing that can hurt Superman is kryptonite pieces of his home planet other than that they're just going to be fighting and fighting and fighting ain't going to go anywhere is Superman and he can blow cold you know air and freeze people with his breath Black Adams don't have the breath feature and he doesn't have laser beam eyes but he can cast what looks like lightning from his hands other than that they're down with the same powers with the same ideology of weakness kryptonite to what they call that in the movie that metal that that crown was made out of in a mansion intermentium and time antium God the stupid machine the stupid app sucks the stuff that Captain America's shield is made out of it's what hurts that Black Adam in that movie so Not only would that be easier to get by far considering it's right there on the planet and everybody knows where to get it considering two the only way they get kryptonite is it falling as an asteroid out of the sky hitting the ground and becoming a meteor if it ain't evaporated other than that somehow they'd have to find a peace out in space and try and catch it it was a spaceship so I think Superman has quite a home field advantage even though it's the Black Adams character in that movie that that home feel the bandage comes from so yeah they put them together I mean don't even see why they do that that'd be stupid and illogical just like the rest of the movies that they make.
