Sultai!? Hell yes I'm in!!!! This deck is pretty damn awesome! A mid rangy style deck that can also combo kill! Exactly why I love these colors so much haha. You're the best Luca!!!
I know I am going to receive a lot of hate for this comment but I have to say it: despite being one of my favorite planeswalkers, I don't think that Liliana's ultimate is a particularly strong one. I have experienced a lot of instances in which either me or my opponent were able to recover from a Lili -6. I am not a modern player, and I know it is supposed to be much stronger in that jund midrange pile. Am I the only one to think that the -6 is the weakest part of having a Lili on the board?
There was no monoblack deck in this video. If you're talking about the orzhov planeswalker/sweeper spam, that's pretty much the bog standard orzhov control.
@metalhev3989 It's more of a mono-black deck with a white splash for removal. The focus was entirely on the black cards. I just have run into so many black decks that are just: play Sheoldred. This wasn't that.
@@aeolus7762 well if that deck was better than those "just play sheoldred" decks you'd be seeing it a lot more and probably the complain would then be "just play planeswalkers and boardwipes"
Match 4, imagine youre little billy that just discovered mono white humans, you get 2 life turn 2, you feel great then some dude unleashes 300 million mana advantage and 100 card advantage on you on turn 2, Standard sure is fun
Plaza of Heroes is the best option, but it could still mess up our early turns if we're missing certain colors. Want to avoid tapped lands at all costs and can always cast Atraxa through One with the Multiverse if the game goes long.
Guys, I need your opinion. Dropped MTG a while ago, but now I kind of miss it. Therefore back to watching LVD. How long nowadays will it take me or how much will it cost me to start from scratch and start building decent decks? In terms of time and/or money?
Multiple factors to take into account. For example, are you planning to play competitively in tournaments or just getting with a casual playgroup once a week for some EDH games? If former, which format(s) are you most interested in playing? In standard, the cheapest option is monored which you can build for under $50. In terms of time, it really depends on where you'd be getting the cards from. If there's a store that sells singles in your area, that would be your best bet. Otherwise, you can order all the cards you need from online shops.
If you want to pick up MTGA and F2P you’ll need to grind dailies like, a lot. Reroll the lower payoff quests and try to get the 750 (650?) gold ones. Mono red is the cheapest in terms of wildcards so that will get you to a competitive level the fastest. I think you get a complete meta deck in at most a handful of weeks. Alternatively if you’re good at drafting that can net you both cards and gems, but you’ll still need the initial gold from doing dailies. Oh and there are a thousand old reedamble codes you can look up which will count towards your wildcards, not sure how far they get you
Paper? Arena? Paper is easy, most of my decks are less than $250 and most are power lvl 7 according to a calculator I use (I only play commander though)
I feel like tyrranex Rex is kinda essential to this deck. When you run into those control and midrange decks nothing beats a hasty uncounterable 7/7 with ward 4 Edit: however i don't know what I would cut for it.
Match 1 showed the strength of the deck and Match 2 highlighted its weaknesses! Excellent video on a fun combo deck!
Turn three Atraxa feels nice and balanced.
Yeah very fair lol
Another great deck and video. Been having a lot of fun and success with Jodah. Thanks for showing that off too!
My pleasure!

Love the combo, creative, fun and not super broken. Great video!
Jodah deck with Cavern of Souls perhaps would be cool. But these blows have been amazing with THIS deck. ESPECIALLY Match 1. Well done LVD
@@AzureAiluren shoot you're right! Watching right now, thanks so much!!
I like fight rigging/debut combo more, you can really win on the spot with it
With two t-rex
Î would love to see that Jeskai Pia Deck again updated with the Ixalan Expansion. Do you think there's room for improvements?
Inti is a good card for it.
I like one or two Breach the Multiverse as top end, goes well with the One

It absolutely is UNLESS your opponent is playing straight-up control in which case it can be a huge blowout, since they won’t have anything but lands
It's really just good against control
Thanks for your comments. You may be right on that. I don't really recall how strong it is against control decks
I think all of her abilities have there specific uses. Her +1 and -2 are very strong. Her ultimate is Balance which is considered extremely strong.
It’s strong but not game ending
Hi man, really good games, i was the one who play against you in the game 5, a hard game btw.
Nice playing you!
Gg
ooof, that shame concede
Your thumbnails are god level!
That mono-black deck was SICK! It wasn't just Sheoldred and win, it used so many things to just go off!

'awesome, god to the next one'
Im honestly surprised that there isn’t even one white land to cast atraxa, since you have all the other colors.

This deck goes from a value drizzle to a value flood real quick
21:47 card games are harder to evaluate than most think. Also great games.
Nah man, it's always removal/control. Got a good card? I'll just cast my counterspell/destroy/exile effect and you don't get to play the game.
@@noxiousvox350a game of threats and answers then?

If on paper and not on tournaments, it is easy, just use proxies
I can't get over how expensive this deck is lmao
I would like to see more games against mono red aggro, the uncrowned king of mtg arena.😂
great deck on first look still has all the fight rigging issues from the past
Absolutely hideous that one 😂!

Edit: however i don't know what I would cut for it.
One Atraxa and one Invasion for two Rexes I guess
Fun games of magic (aside from the usual sweaty monored).
The 🅱️ancient One strikes again
match 4 was disgusting
Farewell is such a miserable magic card 😂
game 2 is why i prefer best of 3 a side board obliterates that super friends deck
I love cheating big threats into play!
😊
Ooh, a new deck featuring a god from Caverns?
*sees Fight Rigging and Atraxa*
Skip!!
Why don't you play a couple of off-color triomes so you can hard-cast Atraxa?
Maybe you just expect to lose if game goes that long
Wouldn’t taplands impact your ability to hit the combo on turn 3?
Don't want them to impede an early combo and we can usually cast Atraxa with One with the Multiverse if the game goes long.
@@LegenVDWould Mirror Box be useful here, as a ‘fun of’ perhaps?
He has no problem casting atraxa off the enablers in the deck. If it ain't broke don't fix it type situation
