I am in the market for a 17-18 foot boat like yours and was leaning 17ft model with 115hp over the 18ft 150hp because I do not want a kicker motor either has your vessel view worked well trolling crank baits ? And is the fuel consumption real high or does it sip gas trolling ? I also was wondering how many pound thrust electric motor ? And does it last very long trolling crank baits ? You have done some very nice upgrades to band the Factory and Dealer do not send them out the door like this ! TC
Mercury 50 hp marine engine fuel does not come to the spark plugs. Gasoline comes to the injectors. The injectors are intact. ecu is solid. When you add a few drops of gasoline into the cylinders, the engine starts and then stops. Cylinder pressure is very good. Can you help me..
When you are getting water in boat, are you running the live wells? Often with big loads placing the boat lower in the water it will not allow water to clear the live wells as easy and you get splash over on the top of the live well. Stick your camera in the live well and check the seal at the top often these are not done right and splash over.

Does the thermostat have to open on the lakewater thermostat housing to have water come out the pee hole?
no, the water should come out the second you start it. the thermostat on an outboard simply increases flow as the engine warms up.
