- Today, we're pulling back the curtain on a mystifying issue with a 2014 Chevy Equinox. A used ABS module, a frustrated client, and an error code that looked like alphabet soup-C056D.
📝 The Situation 📝
One of my valued clients bit off more than he could chew. He slapped in a used ABS control module and armed himself with a MaxiSys Ultra. But guess what? He ran into the notorious error code C056D and was stumped. Smart man that he is, he rang me up.
🔍 What Did We Do? 🔍
The first step was cracking open the repair manual and checking what this cryptic C056D was all about. Flash programming caught my eye as the path to resolution.

We dived into flash programming with one of two outcomes in mind:

I had same exacly problem after dead battery. I replaced the battery and install new brake pedal position switch and did re-learn and still had no crank. After spending afew hours scoping and testing wires found no wiring problem. I decided to remove battery terminal and touch terminals together for 30 minutes. Guess what. That did the trick and code cleared and vehicle cranked over and started up. Try that.

To answer your question no I am not an authorized dealer. Dealers just sell the tool and the relationship stops there. A consultant aligns you with the right tool, then sells the tool and then helps the client grow with the tool they purchased.
