He's striking them overhand and underhand, because the name of the song is like, Upheaval/Overthrowing (literally "the student defeats the master" or "the lower defeats the higher")
_The glitch-stop gimmick tho._ Istg, ProSeka has amazing map designs of all rhythm games. And I mean that because this is the only rhythm game I've ever played _that actually follows in tune with the song every time._
if you read the lyrics of this song, then i seems like it should be an N25 song but with what happened in the event story, it makes sense that vbs sings it.

@@icanthelpit2026 honestly, it's equally easier in some aspects, like on normal mode, GOODs don't break your combo, bads and misses do tho. And the "mercy window" is way bigger, BUT.... Lines - you can't release the finger AT ALL, instantly breaks the combo if you even try to as much as shift the finger. Swipes - i won't even start on those purple bastards, they're a royal butthurt. And then we have.... Manual mode. 😑 And that, good sir, is a whole other beast. Because you have lines, you have holds, which literally stop the chart, BUT, not necessarily a fader chart, fader itself, which can make jumps from side to side ALONGSIDE with being in the same time with lines, holds and swipes... + you have dark blue(by default) tabs, that have shorter good-perfect span, and can easily ruin your combo... You have disk flicks, that jump up those tabs, but they don't when you have hold bar.... 😩So yeah, that's quite a loaded game in terms of charts

Extremely fitting playstyle for the song, quite exagurated flicks, hitting normal notes harder than usual, taps that aren't needed, but still bring character, the usage of two fingers on the same slider (like if it ends with a flick you hold it w/ one hand, but then flick it with your other hand), and the crossing of hands. this style is quite close to that of Nanoflowers', exept he doesn't use hard taps, and instead makes it look like he's plaing the easiest song on the planet by tapping in a controlled way even while playing for example don't fight the music on master (level 36). And I'm not trying to imply that you look like you are getting challanged in this video, I'm saying that you show it's difficoulty in a way that I can't say I recognise anywhere else.
Edit: I completely forgot that Dabi existed, he has an extremely similar playstyle to this video, just the only difference is that he uses up to six/four fingers in almost all of his videos.
