- 7'2" Richard Kiel had already done a number of mostly small roles...
...before appearing with "The Monkees" (1967) as a Frankenstein-like monster.
The episode was titled "I Was a Teenage Monster."
Of course, he would later achieve worldwide fame as James Bond's nemesis, "Jaws."
But aside from a Monster-like turn on "The Hardy Boys/Nancy Drew" ten years later...
...this was as close as he would ever come to playing Frankenstein's Monster.
I neither own nor claim any rights to this material. Just having some fun with it. Thanks for watching!
RIP Mr KIEL ......
Great episode. Brings back memories. Thanx for posting.
One of the funniest, and my most favorite episodes of the monkees
Definitely a favorite episode. Thank you.
“I would do this room in French provincial “😂
2:11 Blang....Gorrah!.....Blang....GOOORRRAAAAAHHH!
Just watched this episode on Sunday 😂
One of the best
Dont remember this. Thanks!!!!
And later he went on to play Jaws in the Bond movie, moonraker.
I wish I had my Acromegaly during puberty, as Richard had. I would have preferred to be over 7 feet tall, instead of 5'10" with all the health problems associated with it. RiP Richard.
Lavender and Puce, or this!!🤣🤣🤣🤣
More like Funkenstein.❤
3:07 gay Richard Kiel 😂
😒 Oh please, don't pigeon hold nor stereotype, will ya?
