I love it, and you have built it for 10 times less than a custom shop relic! Awesome!👍😎🎸🎶
The video would be even better if there’s was a walk through or tutorial.
Great looking guitar, I love relic guitars. . Not all relics look the same. It’s definitely an art form to make a guitar look like it aged naturally
relic guitars are more personal, thats why i love them. yours look amazing, i hope i can get something similar
I agree on them being works art. I have about 20 guitars. Some are relic'd, a few are like new, a handful have been beaten up pretty good by me. A couple are all original, most are modded. Some have single coils, but probably more have humbuckers right now. One or 2 might get different pickups next week.
I love them all. They are my works of art and I enjoy them. Hope you enjoy yours too.
You can shred. Im doing same to a 20 yr old Japanese strat copy. The pink sparkle finish is is getting same upgrades you did. Its fun and when its done, Donate to a school. Raffles or fund raisers etc, work good for school music programs.
Hey Ronald Jr! What's up? So, how are you digging this guitar after 6 months?
Is that an Allen Eden guitar body? It looks exactly like the Allen Eden satin nitro bodies available on Reverb and eBay. If so, what are your opinions on it? I am seriously considering getting one for a build I'd like to do.
Also, just curious what pickups you put in that setup, it sounds great!
I hope to hear back from you.
Keep up the awesome work buddy! Love the channel.
Did you spray the guitar then do the stencil just wondering how you able to get the burst color using stencil. Any info would be great
Wow, You can really play that thing.
I was wondering where you can find the relic stencils? I have an idea to do a paint over sunburst finish with some areas of paint exposed to reveal the sunburst. Stencils would make it a lot easier. Thanks for any help!👍😎🎸🎶
I get it on reverb but they are sold out at the moment
@@RonaldLeggettJr ok...thanks!👍😎🎸🎶
You don't need a stencil. This body is an Allen Eden body. Sold on their site, Reverb and eBay. Here it is: www.ebay.com/itm/153949802393?hash=item23d81f8f99:g:gpYAAOSwsFJdwxq6
That does appear neat; but my new Glarry the finish is nice lol
I’d pay up $1000 for that axe. Dope.
What kind of body is it?
Should have run down the specifics
Where did you buy the body?
www.ebay.com/itm/153949802393?hash=item23d81f8f99:g:gpYAAOSwsFJdwxq6
A custom shop is vastly different.
The woods used are different, the pickups are different.
A set of cs pickups is $200, the switch , pots, cap, you half burned the $500.
Nitro finish would burn the rest.
And yet you still have not addressed the fret and fretwork needed at another level. Like nickle jcar fret wire, level, front end dress, and a few other things.
I am not a custom shop fan, but I know what they put into them.
This video is misleading.
And the problem is young people who do not have a tonality reference to what good tone even is.
Find a vintage dealer, play a pre cbs, and an old blackface.
And turn the gain down.
Then you will understand, at that point you have a valid reference point.
Or get offended and remain ignorant.
Choose wisely.
What’s the body made from? Where’s it from! And the neck? Fender parts Ok!
Body is American made from a blank the neck I got off a guy in Pittsburgh
Body is alder
