@@17t135i haha yeah I have big plans for this car mods wise when it’s running well and registered. Wish I had the money to speed up that process though 🤣
Also to add, I paid 10k cad for mine, 133k klms stock up until 115k klms. Know 3 of the 4 previous owners. Came with new turbos, MHD license, X delete account, full bolt ons. I have a new valve cover and suspension upstairs for it come spring. Plus about 3k of other goodies. No lights or faults. Well worth the cost imo. Ps I subbed 🫡
No I agree, there's not many other platforms where you can get those sorts of results on a $10k car, let alone one where you're not gonna have many, if any internal issues. And tysm! :)
Have a 2006 wagon.250000km.Pure stage 2 turbos meth full bolt on.Sort out the well known problems 1st get sorted. You can get 500/600 hp out of these easy, quick as hell.9.7 litres per 100km.Can buy here in NZ $8000-$10000.I would drop the motor all seals, water pump turbos, motor mounts .
nope, not selling it, unless someone offers me a good amount for it. It was listed at $13k for more than 6 months which was still a low price for the car, and no one bought it. Now i have even more money in it there's no chance I'd let it go for that little. I have more than $24k in the car total...
Great vid man but anyone looking for these cars highly recommend goin with a n55 in the 2011 models unless you want big power an big bills might not be as tuner friendly as the n54 when it comes to easy made power but bmw fixed a decent amount of issues with the n54 an with someone bolts an a tune is a great car but still be ready to wrench.
@@Ovnah no I definitely agree, if you have the money for an LCI with the N55 and you don’t plan for big power then yeah much better option. These are a lot cheaper though, and also more cost effective to get to those bigger numbers when the cars sorted maintenance wise. Both good options.
@Ovnah I've had both, overall the N55 was more cost effective, but early N55 cars have the same problematic hpfp as the N54, which happened to fail on mine lol, same waterpump and cooling system dramas, the best N55 engines are in the M135i and M235i and of course the OG M2, however they are in a different price bracket.
@@17t135i yeah exactly, and they're all 17-12 years old now in the e9x's, and any German luxury car of that age starts to deteriorate around then. It'll be interesting to see how the b58 holds up at that age.
@MotionM_Motors there is a lot of hype with the B58, claims of it being toyota reliable etc, overall it is less problematic than n5x at this point, the oldest ones are almost 9 years old, some have an issue where the oil level check stops working, the fault requires a new oil pump due to a plastic component that goes wrong, newer revision oil pumps don't have the issue. The entire oil filter housing is plastic and these are starting to developing a reputation for cracking and taking many hours to replace. Early B58 injectors can randomly get stuck open and kill the engine.. of course this is rare, but due to the massive hype with the B58 platform being excellent for making big power the focus isn't on the issues.
09 e92 mhd stage2+ w XHP tune 😉
The misconception is everyone thinks the motor is unreliable. When in fact it’s everything attached to it 😂
Couldn't have said it better myself.
love the vids keep it up

Nicely done! Ive had my 135i 3.5 years, ive gone silly with it and it is a lot of fun 😅
