    It looks extremely cool in a shaved engine bay. My friend has an extremely clean civic with a polished turbo. That engine bay is heavenly

    Amazing.. How much would a supercharger head unit cost to polish. I already began, but doing it installed is not good-Id have to removed it and send it for a right result...Thanks.

      I get 500 to do a head unit. It won't matter that it's started, it all gets resanded and leveled anyway. Visit our website/FB page if you'd like it done www.awesomefinish.com

    • @AwesomeFinish

      @@MeG4tRoNx not at all. White Diamond is hand applied after the part is washed. It's a final step. The video shows me using white rouge compound on the buffing wheel.

    Start and finish with 320 grit? Tight areas use 220 grit?

    Very well done sir, very impressive. I'm here in Orange Park Florida and I'm fixing to do my intercooler pipe on my Ford 6.7L diesel engine and I have just one question, why use WD-40 instead of water when sanding? I gave your video a gigantic thumbs👍 up, great work friend.

    • @AwesomeFinish
      @AwesomeFinish  4 роки тому +2

      Hello and thanks! I use wd becasue water would evaporate instantly due to the hot metal. Also the wd is a much better lubricant.

      120 and 220 cartridge roll. 320 DA. 320 wrapped and taped to a 220 cartridge roll to finish small areas.

    Great work. Real awesome. I did something similar but cant reach some of the tight areas. Maybe the conical attachment is not long enough. Btw how did you polish the tight area? The buffing wheel would not reach there?

    What type of buffer did you use? The link looks like a hand held and not a benchtop type.

    • @AwesomeFinish
      @AwesomeFinish  3 роки тому

      I updated it in the description. Didn't realize I was linking to the handheld machine. The benchtop machine is a little expensive but what you want when doing this is horsepower and reliability so a good, strong machine is going to cost a little more than harbor freight!
