oh my god the first time this happened I was so confused as to why I'm moving even though anchor and mast were down and this shadow was dragging me to the middle of nowhere I got out just in time and very lucky because the shadow pieces happened to spawn at sea, I would've died at that moment
Hey Beard! Just wanted to say thank you for all your guides.. My friends and I started DST about 3 weeks ago. We are now on our longest play through at day 165.. Killed all the seasonal bosses, cleared the ruins, and killed the Bee Queen.. Setup for Toadstool and Dragon fly is almost done... We'll be doing those next... The longest we had before this run was just before the first summer ended.. This game is so much fun!!
Well, it depends on how close you are to the coast when the hound wave spawns but I get where you're coming from. Heck, it's why crocodogs in Shipwrecked became a thing.
could you do a video on what bosses you should do in order, like from the first boss you should kill, to the last boss you should kill. love your videos :)
wavy jones is probably the most dangerous shadow creature in the game, the amount of times i've lost my boat, and therefore ended stranded, because he stole it is beyond count lol
You all know my affection towards the ocean content but how does this pertain to anything? One cannot compare nor can we question why we'd go to the ruins over the ocean on like any level, ever. They are two, completely separate entities serving two different purposes.
how do you rush ruins on day 1? you can hardly make a basic weapon and battle helm using wigfrid but you need a crap ton of gold and rocks from the Rocky biome exploring which and mining boulders will probably take at least a day.
I think that's the idea! :D Heck, the shadow even laughs! That tells me that they truly are a non-hostile creature and don't really understand what they are really doing to us to an extent, it's all a game to them!
can you please make a mob kiting videos, especially the ones that are more intimidating but necessary to encounter like a dozen hounds, tentacles, etc.?

I do have a tentacle guide already yes, however the only specific tentacle methods ever shown have been boss kills.

The loch-ness shadow from Shipwrecked would be way to difficult to handle with these wooden circles of ours.

Uh, in a word, nothing. That said, sailing to the Lunar Island can get you stone fruit, moon glass, kelp and more!
